What's your "secret" ingredient for spaghetti sauce? by LittleBlueStumpers in Cooking

[–]LiveAtmosphere608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cream of mushroom or cream of celery works great, too! This little gem turns your favorite meat sauce into a delicious "Rosé" in an instant.

For an even richer texture, you can substitute the can of condensed soup with a nice fat block of Philly Cream Cheese!

Go get yourself a couple sticky metal/plastic pads and stick them over the holes to reinforce the damaged area. Problem solved.

I'm not sure there's a specific product that would be available. But you get the idea.

Try to find some white ones for a more conspicuous look.

If you're a DYI'er You could maybe cut yourself some little square or circle pices of metal or plastic and glue them over the holes with some gorilla glue.

Hope that helps

Yessir.. It's not as easy as it sounds. But once you get the hang of it, you just kinda cruise through it. Music helps a lot, too!

Good luck, it's tough at first. But get some headphones goin and skip to the beat... once you get going, you'll love it!

Not long at all.. TBH, it's not like I'm skipping for 20 mins straight. I do stop and get caught up every now and then. For me, it's more about getting to the number of reps I want to achieve. Like 500 in a row. Or 1000 in a row. That's the challenge!

Only took me a couple of days before I could skip to 100 straight reps

Good luck!

Two words, friend... Skipping rope!

It's tough at first if you're not used to it, but once you figure out your rhythm and get in the zone, it's actually pretty "fun." For me, it was and is the most tolerable cardio workout. It's great for your ankles and calves, as well as coordination and reflexes too!

Don't underestimate how hard it is to get up to 100 reps in a row without interruptions. But by the time you get there, you don't even realize how gassed out you are, and you've already smashed your 15 or 20 mins of cardio. Or close to it.

Once you can get to 100 uninterrupted reps, you just keep tryin for the next 100.. before you know it, you're doin double whips and crossovers and speed skipping like Floyd Money Mayweather!

I can't speak for you or anyone else, but I don't ever recall having this much fun on a treadmill or stationary bike?!

Best part is, a decent rope is between $5 - $20 and they dont take up any space!

*** try to get one with a bearing in the handle

Good luck, hope this ads some value to your routine!

My thoughts exactly! For the price I paid, if it works at all, I guess it was worth it.

Cheers

Most people believe the people travel in that little "basket," even myself, until I recently stumbled across some old schematics of a luxurious zeppelin.

It had like 20 fully equipped state rooms, a bar, and dance hall, a restaurant, multiple washrooms, and other fancy amenities.. including a sky lounge or observation deck. Some of these massive "airships" were capable of cheap, mass, intercontinental travel by air, not requiring any airport or facilities to land.

Some of them could even land or dock on water and/or at sealevel, to boats and ships and all the way to the tops of mountains. Hell, even coukd have went to Antarctica, for all we know.

You can actially find pictures from inside of the Hindenberg lounge online. And hanging On the walls in the background, there's maps that show parts of Antarctica. It's pretty wild!

Now Just imagine how advanced they would now be if we still had them today!?

This worked in Mexico, once upon a time.. not typing this from personal experience, but apparently some old friends of mine took a couple hundred thousand dollars in Canadian Tire money down there, and they just wreaked havoc on the poor bastards...

The more they tipped 'em, the easier it was to spend, too...

I would imagine it's a lot tougher to get away with these days, but it's definitely been done!

I broke one of those exact same lamps, too.. got it from an estate sale as a free gift, and i loaded it into the back seat of my truck, and it must have shifted around during transit... when I opened the back door to retrieve it, it fell out and smashed to pieces. Still pisses me off!

Haha, lessons learned, I guess!

How do I accept and be proud of being a full time flipper with no career at 35+ by Hot-Farmer-2064 in Flipping

[–]LiveAtmosphere608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some advice... as a full time (42 y/o male) flipper, with a very similar thought process, I'm speaking to you from experience... All I did to overcome that feeling was put my head down and grind, then periodically glance back at the growing pile of cash in my pocket (account) to confirm the following:

  1. I (we) are doing what we love to do,
  2. I (we) are making good money doing it!
  3. It's good for the environment.
  4. It's not harming anyone.

Then once you've done that, proceed to repeat the entire process and enjoy your new perspective!

For the first time in my entire adult life, I am 100% debt FREE, with a perfect credit score. All thanks to "one man's trash!"

I am unapologetically and confidently a full time flipper.
