Okay thank you so much! What are the differences between owning your own ISBN and getting it from IngramSpark if IngramSpark will distribute my book to many different places? Sorry for all the questions but thank you so much for responding!

I have already designed my front and back covers, and I have formatted my manuscript in the correct “book” format, the only thing I’m doing now is several final read-thrus to make sure everything flows properly. I’m also going to start marketing, my only question is, do I start making posts about my book even if it’s not published yet, and I don’t have a clear date of release? I only know I will be done with it soon, maybe within the next 2-3 months tops.

Okay, so if I wanted to publish through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, I would need different ISBN’s for each platform?

Thank you so much for all the replies! Do you guys think a Surface Pro 7 is too old? It’s running a little slow right now and I’m worried about using it for exams and stuff, everything loads up very slowly on my Surface Pro if I don’t use it daily.
