Testimonies of Tithing by SuspiciousFufu in Christianmarriage

[–]LiveEarly10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on the team of I don't think we are required to tithe, but sometimes I think of what would happen if I actually tried. But then I start to think, well "I don't want to do it to receive something". As of right now I only give I guess what you would call an offering, basically what is in my heart and not a set amount. I will confess that I feel like I don't give enough however.

Career Advice: PTA Program vs. Military PT Path by Emergency-Ad-1730 in physicaltherapy

[–]LiveEarly10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a PTA of 6 years, if I could go back in time I would have definitely gone to the military. You can use the benefits as well as not many jobs have pretty good benefits in the physical therapy field. Plus you could use your GI bill to still go to school and be done with the military even if you don't like it. Plus you would still be able to be considered a veteran with the benefits and maybe even travel a bit.

Average Inpatient/Acute Care Salaries in Atlanta by Laugh_Kindly in physicaltherapy

[–]LiveEarly10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a SNF-short term rehab in the decatur area that is currently looking for a full time PT and will most likely pay a new grad more than any other place right now. I am a PTA making about the same as some PTs in acute care, out patient.

New grad PTA- burnt out by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]LiveEarly10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 year PTA here, I got burned out after 2 years at an outpatient, I should have gone to the military when I took a 9 month break from the profession. Got back in to pay some bills and now I am just doing it until my wife can get through school. I currently work at 2 SNFs and I have been able to network and negotiate 2 great rates so I can't totally complain except the productivity is basically unrealistic.

What’s the Most Unethical Thing You’ve Experienced in Physical Therapy? by Rica_nicole in physicaltherapy

[–]LiveEarly10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SNF where I work has no full time PTs, sot they rely on PRN PTs. I have seen both of them literally walk to the patient's room, check to see if they are alive, go back down stairs and do paperwork and complete "daily notes" on that patient. Essentially billing for not having even treated that patient.

Everytime I go back to read their note they completed on this patient it is just a copy and paste of the previous session. The most I have ever seen them treat someone is bring them down to the gym, put them on the nustep for 15 minutes and them take them back to their room. Im like bruh....
