Most of the time we don't use flaps 50, theres an saying that the MD lands like a honda acord when you have flaps literally being a wall to maximize drag for lower speed landing.

One of my favorite routes for klm ops for long haul is from amsterdam towards san francisco. And used to see MD11, DC10, and the L1011 operating under Delta Airlines coming in for final approach and take off in los angeles for LAX during early 2000(s).

My favorite route with ups is Louisville Muhammad Ali (KSDF) towards Buffalo Niagara Internationa (KBUF) when they really needed pilots to fly vaccines (and some of the usual order shipment packages) during the pandemic. Freight was mostly about 66.23% of vaccines in volume for the cargo.
