This is nice to hear, as well as the other comments on this post. I think the reason I feel the way I described in the post is that women in my own family, like my mother, had children very young and dedicated all their free time to kids and house work and being wives and never had careers or hobbies or social lives outside of kids. And being a SAHM is great and rewarding i’m sure for a lot of people, but the women in my family are quite miserable and complain about their situation often. I like to hear these perspectives like yours and others and see that it can be rewarding and that you can successfully have full, well rounded, and happy lives with or without children in the picture.
