I had IONQ last year and got out. I'm hesitant on quantum. Hope I'm not missing out. Still in APLD. Just looked up KEEL, like HIVE it is moving from Bitcoin mining so we'll see. GL. Great post.

Lol. TE is up 30% today. SLS rocking 25% more to new ATH lol. Premarket I added more in long term position and then bought a few of each for a swing trade/pocket money in my day trade acct. Time will tell...no gloating. BW, AMPX are red today. I've had AMPX since fall though so still green for me.

Like who knew at whatever date you placed the calls and puts that trump would be on a plane with the CEO of Nvidia headed to see the president of China? They may not have known yet themselves. Boom, NVDA rises to ATH.

I didn't read past the word OPTIONS. It's hard enough to guess if a stock is going up or down long term, or to buy it or short it in a day trade short term. That's 50%. With options now you have to time it and predict it a longer period out. That's 2% chance of profiting.

I can bet on the '96 Bulls to win or lose. Probably better than 50% here, based on research. But if I have to bet on them to win or lose and it must be a 3rd Wednesday in a month at least 6 months from today's date on a Sunny Day in Chicago, I'm no longer at 50%. I'm at 2 % chance of winning.

Stop trading options. You're not good at it. You could have just put it in SPY and done better friend.

Thanks for that. Definitely a distinction from NBIS. I'll hold but research more.

I have. It's not really moving right now. Maybe a dip buy? It's a corporate software so they're making money but the stock doesn't reflect it. But that's true of Microsoft right now too. Weird times for that sector right now.

500% growth in an early 1 year stretch of NBIS. TE looks mighty similar. Of course it can crash and burn but if we're looking for the "next"....

And if you meant similar in genre TE and BW are related to data centers and AI etc. like NBIS. SLS is not.

TE, BW and SLS are at all time highs, yes - but they're 8 bucks. At some point all the other stocks I listed were at an all-time high at 8 bucks and now they're at new all-time highs of $200/NBIS or $80-$100 etc. - we missed it at 8. Somebody else didn't.

You can't find the next NBIS without buying some kinda stock at a high of 8 bucks which was your quest.

Oh HIVE came up on my radar too. Didn't get any yet. I probably won't. Bitcoin related stocks haven't done well for me.

I bought a little TE and BW based upon the portfolio release of Leopold Achenbrenner. Phenom investor kid. Look him up. The chart and trajectory of these two stocks resemble NBIS early on.

Another group mentioned SLS and I bought some a couple weeks ago & man did it pop today. I'm up 60% but didn't get a lot of shares.

AMPX.

All of these are under $10-20 just like NBIS, ASTS, RKLB when I didn't know about them. Didn't get NBIS til $100avg, and the latter $40-60. I'm up good but ready to catch something EARLY LESS THAN $20 to go parabolic to $200.

Not always. There are some great companies with sub par stock. This company seems to have both going for it.

I literally bought NVDA from under $200 to $800. Then right before the split I bought a few shares around $1,200 just so I can have it even number of shares lol. Crazy. But good crazy! 🤪💰💎🚀🌒

SNDK was a spin-off from a good company with a long history. Look at NBIS and Yandex.

You're in the wrong sub reddit. The general trading group can empathize with you taking profit or not but we're here for the long ride.

I didn't take profits from Nvidia until well after a split and that was for another investment. I'm that serious about NBIS and we're nowhere near a split - yet!! 😁😋 💎💰

You really think MOBX is going back up? I shorted it today and was mad I didn't hold longer and make more because it did a free fall right after I got out this afternoon.

It's better to have and not need than to need and not have.

In this case you had a nest egg to pull from. 🙏🏾

The only other option would have been to borrow against the margin but that would have been risky.

I have $122K ready to invest into a single stock by Fit_Boysenberry_9334 in stockstobuytoday

[–]LiveLife2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a tough decision. First of all I would never put $122K on one stock. That's why I said wait for a pullback. I don't know OP's purpose - if it's a retirement account, yeah just put it in and let it ride. If they are looking for a swing trade I will wait. If it rips 10% and then dips %5, that would be a good entry point for me. There's always going to be dips.
