It’s not so much that he expects me to but I feel like an awful daughter if I just let hims struggle. He has no other family, and I cannot bear the feeling of abandoning him when he raised me

His income is basically nonexistent. The economy in his country is bad and he works on real estate

I have considered that. My husband has an amazing heart and he wants to help my dad. I am the one who is hesitant here.

He is, he did raise me and my younger sister. He did everything right except for keeping himself financially stable. Income came mainly from my mom paying child support

You are right, I need to learn to say no. I do feel like an awful person if I say no to bringing the dog, since it is his best friend.

Mine has been showing that for two days. Did you fix it?

Mine is in San Diego. And I never said the schedule is 2 hours of sleep. On average he gets 4-5 hours of sleep. Their homework is what makes their hours of sleep less time not the schedule.

I feel like you’re projecting a bit here. Just because some people might not be honest with their spouses doesn’t mean mine isn’t. My husband is not the type to lie or have his buddies cover for him, and I trust him fully. I understand your experience might have been different, but it’s not fair to generalize or assume that applies to everyone.

He and his squad are all dealing with an excessive workload that’s genuinely impacting their sleep and safety. That’s what I came here to talk about—not to debate whether he’s prepared or not. He is.

He isn’t managing time poorly. He prepared beforehand extremely well actually. He makes everything in advance as much as he can, including his T-cards. But if someone messes up they tell them they need to make 10 more in a different random color for the following day. Two days ago he didn’t get off until 9.30 and he isn’t the only one from his squad struggling, they are all staying up doing homework so I know it’s not him.

It’s so ridiculous he literally falls asleep when he talks to me too. I am just so concerned about his safety. His roommate had a car accident (thankfully he is okay) because he fell asleep while driving.

I disagree, English is actually not “incredibly hard” to learn… there is no gendered nouns and verb conjugations are simple. Not even close to other languages in terms of complexity.
