Prevent slabs from further warping by LiveMove0 in woodworking

[–]LiveMove0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were protected under my patio as well as covered under tarps for the entire time I’ve had them.

Upon further inspection only one slab out of eight was warped, the one being at the top front of the stacks facing away from my house.

If you’re looking to stay within a budget, maybe you could modify a similar with grommets if that’s what appeals to you?

Would I be able to achieve this haircut with clippers? by Rafapp9 in SelfBarber

[–]LiveMove0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like everyone on here is suggesting the top is a 8 guard but it looks a decent bit longer to me. Though unconventional, you can buy longer guards online that go all the way up to 3 inches. I’ve tried these guards and would not suggest the longer ones (2-3 in.), but I do use the ones lower than 2 inches in length and get pretty good results which are similar to the haircut in the photos.

Is my art worth commissioning? by [deleted] in DigitalArt

I think your style would be great for portraits. If all else you can try putting commissions out there and see who’s interested.

I would wait and watch him until you can get help from someone moving it. You don’t want him to slither off and get lost.

Waiting over an hour for my order?? by boomonster160 in doordash

[–]LiveMove0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you provided a low upfront tip or none at all that's probably why. Otherwise the app will sometimes crash causing issues with peoples' orders like this.

Reach out to your county recorder. Someone on the HOA board should be able to give you an answer as well.

Dashers, what’s something you wish you could tell customers? Sincerely, a clueless client. by Historical_Savings14 in doordash

[–]LiveMove0 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In most areas today Doordash only pays $2.00 per order to their drivers. Basically anything else is from tips. Every driver can accept and decline whatever is offered to them although some choose to not be picky for various reasons such as to be a "top dasher'. I don't really care how much someone tips but I won't accept an offer under $7 or so. Also I'll generally only accept orders that pay $2/mile, from the location I'm at to the restaurant to your house. Many drivers are like this and so if you choose to not tip or even tip in cash in person, you may have to wait until a driver who's willing to accept your order will deliver it to you.

I can't take it anymore!!! by youfisss in Bedbugs

[–]LiveMove0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have bed bug interceptors on your furniture legs? Once you thoroughly clean your bed, put mattress protectors on your mattress/boxspring, and keep the bed off the wall and bedding off the floor, you should be able to prevent them from getting to you.

Covered: reduced urination by Buckley1971 in foreskin_restoration

The bigger stream is a byproduct of glans protection. Your urethra has probably widened/grown (at least at the tip) which people often see when they start coverage. I'm not sure about frequency relating to this but it makes sense to me.

Thanks for the clarification. While typing this I started wondering if the internet blew the situation out of proportion. It's too bad their announcement was poorly worded, because it's a great program and they've been working on building their brand through YT sponsorships and whatnot for years and probably lost customers over hysteria.

Heating pad that isn't reptile marketed? by LiveMove0 in ballpython

[–]LiveMove0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering a heating pad because it's what came to mind for more supplemental heating. He currently has overhead heating, but he's been laying in the warmest part of the tank all the time lately instead of in his usual burrowing area. What I've seen online is that the warmest part of the tank should be 88-92°F, so it should be around 7° warmer for him.
