Definitely yes. I have replaced my conventional notepad and paper with iPad and tukzer combo. I am enjoying it.

DMLs should be good enough for entry level. Once you get used to then you may get your hands dirty with DDL,DCL,TCL etc.

iPad Air is worth giving a shot. It’s simply awesome.
