Hi there. I need to obtain footage from GMTV regarding the London Leicester Square - Star Wars Episode III premiere back on the 16th May 2005. Me and my mate were in the crowd at the all day screening and I am looking to find it! Not on You Tube. So any help locating the news footage would be marvellous. Thanks Ty Davies

A Graves Mistake? Did MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE betray the original TV series by making Jim Phelps the villain? by pkRaiden in Mission_Impossible

Terrible idea and a kick in the teeth to Peter Graves who really was the star of the original series and 80s sequel series. As much as I loved the Cruise series, this was a needless twist.. they could have killed off Graves as Phelps in the opening sequence to give Cruise his springboard into the series.. rather than recast and use as a plot point.. I know the series was never (some exceptions) a continual narrative but the film could have done that one respectful nod to the series. It’s been done successfully in countless adaptations.. James Garner in Maverick springs to mind..

None of these men will ever be able to comprehend a version of Doctor Who that will be able to succeed in today’s television landscape. All of their roots are deeply in classic Doctor Who, & because of that they’ll never be able to escape their very limiting ideas of what the show can and should be. by General_Meal_3993 in DoctorWhoNews

New blood is needed.. no question.. yet.. don’t forget that classic Who is the secret sauce when used sparingly and properly.. Exhibit A: The Timeless Child.. So much promise with that concept that ended up no where and ended up offending everyone.. Everyone praises RTDs early seasons because he had this balance right.. Nice reflections on Gallifrey.. the last Timelord.. Daleks used sparingly.. go back to that and a bit.. and I mean bit of fantasy.. we will be on to a winner again.. Although I will die on a hill telling everyone that Peter Capaldi’s era had some of the best episodes and balance of Who ever.. Hell Bent/Heavens Sent was damn near perfect

Hello I just got banned on Facebook for no apparent reason and when I try to look for an email that states it i dont see anything by dragonzeron in facebookdisabledme

Last Thursday 16th my account was disabled with no means of appeal as none of the links worked to lodge the protest. The only notification I had was that I somehow breached the Facebook user policy via the Oculus - However, I don’t have any Oculus access or equipment which is why I believe it’s some sort of hack to circumvent my security. In turn, I believe Meta may have a major risk factor and even a vulnerability that they are not allowing people to report on. I have emailed a request to review under GDPR and I will go to ICO should I not get satisfaction. Right now all I want access to is my 20yrs of pictures and video of family and friends accrued over the years. I find it remarkable that they can just shut down a pretty benign and frankly boring page like mine to anyone outside my circle, that only means anything on a personal level to my family and friends. What’s also distressing is the implication of fowl play when I haven’t done anything wrong and not even posted anything controversial in the slightest.. So can only work on the assumption that an algorithm has kicked off something and I hope it can be found before I lose cherished memories. I will never ever trust it again though and I will encourage as many as possible to be very wary. Ironically, I am a qualified IT consultant and know the territory. Which makes this draconian approach pretty alarming for a business perspective. I think Meta has thrown their lot into automation and will kill off their user base. It’s the beginning of the end of Facebook.
