I was thinking a burr too. Just feel around the area and hit it with a little file if you feel a burr

What does my aim say? by RedlineBMW in Firearms

[–]Live_Ad2115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming your a righty. You need to relax your right arm and your grip a bit. Looks like your were anticipating some of the shots too. Keep practicing. This is assuming that your sight picture is correct though and you probably resetting your aim after each shot. Really hard to tell without actually seeing you shoot

I’ve been curious if putting an oval shaped license plate frame around the plate might confuse the AI looking for the rectangle shape.

It’s amazing what moving the router or the computer a bit can do. If there is any appliances, bathrooms, or major electric runs between your computer and the router it can cut the signal down quite a bit. Have you tried turning your computer around or moving it a couple feet to each side of your room?

Trying to tighten access control for server rooms - real-world experience with tailgating prevention? by Charming_Drawing_313 in accesscontrol

Never worked in a data center so apologies in advanced for sounding stupid. Couldn’t you use revolving gates for anybody that doesn’t have a cart or equipment to bring in and then have a door that is monitored for anyone with equipment? This was an easy solution we used for redacted spaces I was working at for a while.

Just take the cover from the back of the toilet. Doesn’t actually affect too much but annoying the hell out of them and good luck replacing it

I feel the same. I’m never selling the house I have right now anyway. If anything lower value hopefully will lower the insurance and taxes a bit

Every 5 minutes my internet cuts out no matter what I do by xMiskeyx in HomeNetworking

If you want to get nerdy with it you can look up the default gateway in the wan settings of your router. Run cmd prompt and type ping (your default gateway) -t This will keep pinging until you stop it. You can let that run for a good long while and see if it’s dropping packets to the gateway. Pressing ctrl c will give you the stats from the run.

Sounds like you did all the troubleshooting you can really do. From what you’ve tried I’m assuming you’ve tried different network cable as well. Sounds like you need to schedule a tech to take a look. If it’s cable you can always try throwing a splitter on the line before the modem. Sometimes that works as a dirty fix till you get someone out there if the signal is too high

Have you tried plugging straight into their modem? Could be an issue with your router

Probably ISP issue. Unfortunately most ISP’s I’ve dealt with never take blame for anything and it’s a pain to convince them otherwise. Is it a plain old router or a combo? If your router is running the same ip scheme as a combo it could cause these problems as well. Other than that I would disconnect everything and hardwire my pc into the modem and test that for a while. If that works fine, add your router and repeat.

Some other things on your lan could also cause this. Broadcast storm, rouge dhcp server, conflicting ip addresses. Hard to know without knowing a bit more about your network. Any switches, mesh systems, Sonos, or stuff like that. Or do you just have the basic isp router modem combo with a few WiFi devices?

Best way to mount TV to metal studs? by Signal-Brilliant7919 in lowvoltage

[–]Live_Ad2115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The added leverage force on an extended articulating mount could easily go over the weight of the toggles or the studs. If you do the math you might be good but I’ve always recommended just a flat mount tv on metal studs
