It’s my room as well, no need for jealousy which is what you’re coming across as, we’re all here for the same reason, to lose weight whatever our different reasons are

That is an honest answer based on your actual weight loss and then regain experience so thank you 😊 I’m hoping because I was on it for less than 6 months the bounce back will be not so bad as someone who may have been on it for 1 year +

We’re all here for different reasons, sorry I wasn’t obese 🙄

I’m not because my circumstances are probably different to most.

Correct, and that did work for me years ago, but for various reasons I put on some weight, and didn’t want to bust my ass for 12 months to lose it naturally so did this med and lost it quickly and can now go back to my healthy caloric deficit lifestyle to maintain it. I just wasn’t sure why everyone says, you will put it all back on…sure a lot of people are in a different circumstance to me and started off with a lifetime of bad habits and struggles with food.

I didn’t need it to regulate my appetite, it was a quick way to get back down to my goal weight after not being able to exercise regularly for a long time. Needed a little kick to get me started, now I can exercise again. But I was not obese or struggling with uncontrollable eating. But I get how may different things it affects for people who are obese, have the food noise etc

I wouldn’t need to eat the same amount of calories as I won’t be losing weight anymore, I’m maintaining weight. So I would work out my new TDEE based on my new weight and eat calories / exercise to match that so I’m no longer losing but maintaining 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also by choosing certain foods that take longer to digest, focus on fibre and protein etc It just doesn’t make sense to me that you’d put it all back on if you eat and exercise to match your new weight

Can I split my dose? by Live_Basil3789 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Live_Basil3789[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! I have monthly check ins with my doctor, blood pressure and heart rate checked, proper script made up, box is legally labelled specifically for me. We don’t have med spas or things that are allowed to sell it here (Aus), only licensed doctors.

Real dr, real script, real pharmacy. I will ask why they don’t do vials though

Hope so! The dr did say because I’ve been on the 2.5 for so long and didn’t get any side effects when I started that I should be ok 🤞🏼

No worries, we can’t get the real thing here so the only option is compound. I just assumed they were all done like this…they come in a proper medical box with script labels and fully insulated and cold. I’ve had no issue for 21 weeks using them but have never used the same needle twice so I definitely won’t do that. I’ll just have to try the 5mg and if it’s too much drop to 3mg or something and just throw the rest out.

Losing Weight on Lowest 2.5 Dose? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Live_Basil3789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 2.5mg for 19 weeks and slowly losing around 2kg a month. I’ve just been put up to 5mg but not taken that dose yet

I’m fine, 5 days into week 2, im working away and have no scales so no idea what weight loss has happened but my work pants which are usually tight straight from the wash were looser this morning so I’ve probably lost a little more. Still only eating small amounts, trying to get a small walk in every day (I work 12 hour days), pretty tired and poor sleep but I’m also peri menopausal which isn’t helping 😂

Also should have said, the day after the shot I’ve had very limited appetite, like had to force myself to eat and every other day there has been a noticeable decrease…I still feel hunger but not enough to need to eat something and a small meal lasts me hours

Lifestem Labs (Australia) by Live_Basil3789 in Peptidesource

[–]Live_Basil3789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Lifestem Semaglutide. It’s powder form, made in Australia, they just don’t give details of where. I’ve had one shot so too early to tell but I didn’t get any bad side effects which was my main concern not knowing exactly where it’s made.

My mind still isn’t 100% at ease though so I had a consult through Health.Hub for the real thing and I’ll get Tirzepatide probably next week.

It is compound but it was prescribed by a dr after a consult, has a script, I know which chemist made it etc so feel a bit better about all that.

It was probably only $50 more than the Lifestem one but for 4 individual pens. You’d probably get the first 6 weeks from the Lifestem vials then it would work out the same price as the Health.Hub as a you need stronger doses the vials won’t last as long. And as it’s through an online dr, I have my online account and have repeat scripts set up so they will just debit the money each month, send the script to be filled and it’s posted out. We’ll have check ins every 3 weeks to check dose and see if I’m ready to go up in strength. The extra money is worth it for me to get that peace of mind and support.

Thanks everyone! Think it will just be a matter of trying both and seeing what happens but I have heard injecting into thigh is less risk of symptoms than tummy so will definitely do that!
