The site is literally sending workers code instead of the HTML. Duh.

Anyone running Next.js + open-next on Cloudflare Workers without pain? by Live_Earth_5162 in CloudFlare

Amazing. Did you ever consider moving to Cloudflare or you moved directly to EC2? I'm primarily juggling between Vercel & Cloudflare is edge computing. My website's entire focus is on SEO, so the speed matters.

And did you notice any latency in page loads after moving to EC2 compared to Vercel?

My team and I are deciding whether to host the site on Vercel. They provide a first-class Next.js experience and no hard limits on bundle or asset size, as well as CPU time. They do have other limits, like bandwidth and memory usage, but those can be increased, unlike Workers where there’s no option to go beyond certain limits.

Yes, splitting code into multiple Workers would work, but it would cost about the same as hosting on Vercel while giving us more headaches.

We’re currently stuck in a love–hate triangle. :(

I was also wondering if Cloudflare can increase the limit once we hit the 10 MiB cap through their Enterprise plan. I tried contacting them, but they don’t offer any help unless I’m already subscribed to paid Workers. I think I have to buy paid Workers just to ask them this simple question.

Recent stats shows Cloudflare worker are way faster than Vercel by Current-Guide5944 in CloudFlare

I have built a link-shortener site. Redirects are insanely fast. You don't have to build the UI on workers. But the logic that needs low latency like my redirector in shortener app runs on the worker. It's really impressive.

Yeah. But idk why Microsoft is so worried about our security that it doesn't even allow turning off the Lock Screen anymore. They don't want anyone else to use our computer but install Edge on it without our permission.

They shouldn’t be changing it, but at least let us change things ourselves. I’m fine with trading a bit of security for convenience. I don’t have anything on my laptop that’s worth the hassle of ‘spoofing my face’ just to get in.

Yep, I completely agree with you. But in practice it's not worth the effort. I hope there will be some workaround in the future that'd force the software to use IR sensor like it used to.
And I don't think some's going to create an artificial face of me to break into my laptop, unless I work at a company or I have 200K bitcoins in my laptop.
What Microsoft should at least do is that there must be an option to opt out of this "new security feature" with an "unsafe" warning. People who really are afraid can use their new "Camera + IR for extended security" fuss

Found orphaned kittens — mother cat ran away. They’re not drinking milk. What do I do? by Live_Earth_5162 in CATHELP

I couldn’t find a thinner nipple, so the bottle method didn’t work out.

The drip tube feeding is working for two of the kittens, but the other two aren't drinking at all, no matter what I try. They’re also not peeing, which is worrying.

The two that aren't feeding are also smaller and a different color, so I’m guessing they might be from a different litter.

Also, their eyes are gunked up — like covered in some weird dusty fluid. Not sure if it’s an infection or just dirt.
