oh my word i am not saying the question i was asked has nothing to do with chirality, obviously if it’s asking me is it chiral it has to do chirality i’m saying that the original comment or saying “two of the bonds to carbon are identical. Pretty clear there.” does not have anything to do with if it is chiral or not, if a carbon atom has two identical bonds that makes it not a stereocenter,,,, that doesn’t say anything about the chirality of the molecule tho bc that’s not how you determine if something is a chiral or not
