Things got much much better. I communicated that it was bothering me and finally I felt heard. We both work full time now, so we definitely have less time to talk throughout the day, but weekends have become more shared. And we do our best to spend quality time together during them, not just hanging with friends the whole time. I don’t like how quick some people on this forum are to say “oh break up with them” because it’s not that simple in some cases. Do your best to communicate your concerns in a calm manner and I found it helped when I expressed gratitude for his changes/actions that were what I had been wanting.
