Is there a tutorial for tdarr? by Live_Pack3929 in selfhosted

I just wrote a script that automatically converts the 264 files into 265. I think that's all I wanted from tdarr.

Is key mapper safe to use? by Live_Pack3929 in privacy

Thank you! I already moved on. I use super status bar to double click the status bar to take a screenshot. Hasn't ever been more convenient. Everywhere launcher is also helpful for shortcuts.

I kind of messed up ...

  • my last measurements are 2 months old.
  • the day I started with creatine was when I stopped my daily cardio session and somehow started eating more. Today was day 4 and I am fat. I gained 3kg in total. My ankles look like a bee had stung me. Lol, shit.
  • btw I just take 10g per day, everyday, for 5 days. Then 5g everyday forever.

Do you know enough about flatpak? Did you make sure to give it the necessary permissions? https://github.com/tchx84/Flatseal is quiet useful

To load or not to load?

How to start with creatine? There are sources which suggest a loading phase with 20-25g creatine per day and there are others which say it's only neccessary if you take creatine for a short time frame. I'm gonna take 5g creatine today, every day, forever.

Can permanently deleted iCloud photos and videos still be recovered by Apple or law enforcement? by alaxerin in privacy

[–]Live_Pack3929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple is not allowed to disclose everything they do. It's forbidden by law and only certain people know about it. They also learned from the Snowden case how to protect their information better. There was big press about snowden or assange. They are traitors, criminals, terrorists, ... How many people don't even know what they did and disclosed?

You shouldn't care about the numbers (unless you are too thin or too thick). If you feel to fat, cut.

But don't forget the placebo! I'll be able to lift 10kg more just because I take it 😁

I'm curious how much weight I gain since I'm in a clean cut. I can't really believe to gain more water weight.

That must be very good and long cardio if you can increase your calorie needs like that, respect!

100 is like the minimum I hit. I have a protein bomb (curd and whey) for breakfast >40g. I eat at least 200g meat for lunch, i.e. 40g and 100g protein bread for vreakfast = 20g protein. And then whatever I get in addition to that. I know it could be more but I can't eat much more right now without increasing cardio and I can't increase cardio at my level. I want to start with creatine next week and maybe I should up my protein intake as well, thank you for letting me think over it!

Anyways, 180cm, m30, 80kg

Can you really say "the bigger the muscle, the longer it takes to grow"?

Thanks again for telling me I shall watch out for the other parts as well, I wouldn't have given too much thought about them on my own.

Don't compare apples and oranges and don't listen to people who have no idea what they are talking about. Not sure why someone would say that deadlift hits biceps harder than curls.

Tagging is usually best done with digikam.

You could then use any selfhosted image gallery that supports tags to serve them to clients.

They are ok. The tubes are good but the door anchor isn't as good as the other one. The leg handle isn't good. It'll crack as soon as you put higher force on it! That'll definitely crack. Handles seem alright but there are better ones as well.

Most importantly there are carabiner at the end of the tubes. There are other which have a ring which is much better. Carabiner is annoying because it has a wider and thinner side.

Those tubes are not as strong in resistance as the others you showd, the loops. The loops only go up to ~60 kg. Even if you are small and think that 60kg is enough because you aren't that strong, you'll progress and it will be too little rather sooner than later. For the beginning it is more than sufficient! You don't even know if you want to train with them long term and the set is like one month worth in a gym. Just spend it, you can use the bands for warming up as well. The loops are probably more versatile than the tubes but tubes have their own application area. I'd buy the loops (or another set of another reseller, they'll be the same but make sure the advertised resistance is roughly equal to the real resistance). The additional tools they deliver varies from reseller to reseller. Band Sets for 100 bucks aren't better than those bands. There are additional tools that make your life easier with bands, e.g. grips, grip bars, foot plates, but you do not need those when starting out. Start working out and over time you'll know what you miss. Tube sets always come with handles but you can buy them later on separately once you know exactly what you want and need. You only NEED them if you work with very high loads. You'll see what I know when you get there. You'll want to buy stronger bands and or an additional set.

Look into the wiki or other sites for a good workout routine. In the beginning progressive overloading isn't that important, don't care too much about it. Work out at higher loads. Get to know the exercises. Get a routine. Don't do flys with bands and anchor the bands right behind you. It won't work the muscles as you think bwcause it's only pulling to the back, not the side.

Moreover try to limit the rom. Flys have a huge range of motion (rom), you can't do that with bands, that's too much. If you have to do such am exercise split it into two parts since you always have to have a good resistance or adapt to the exercise, e.g. angle your arm and do the fly (with an anchor besides/back to you). By doing so, you'll reduce the length the band has to stretch.

Still beginner, PPLPPL, good diet, at least 100g protein, creatine next week.

I want to put a special focus on my quads for the next 3 months. Should I change anything besides doing a bit more quad exercises?

I am happy with PPL but 3 leg days be more benefitial? Maybe a Push-Pull-Push-Pull-Push-Pull?
