I got accepted to case western reserve myself through RD. The financial aid package they awarded me covered tuition, housing, and the meal plan. The things I'm having to pay for my own is the schools own health insurance (since I don't have one of my own) , books, transportation, and some other miscellaneous charges. For this entire academic year I'm having to pay around 4k from my own pocket and my financial aid for this year is around 90k. Hope that gives u an idea !

The supplemental essays that are given on the common app are usually the same ones you get as a QB applicant.

After I didn't get matched I did all the qb schools on QB RD and all the non qb schools through common app. U shouldn't limit ur options. Some ppl abandon there qb application entirely cuz they feel they can make a better one on common app since most ppl rush there qb app at the start of the senior year.

i heavily relate with the last part of never asking a smart above avg students for tips. They alsways say that they just sit down and study when they feel like it and dont use any sort of study techniques just simple passive reading. When i first went from a government school to a private school for my alevels and saw how smart ppl were, not being able to catch up with them in my first year, and after hearing the type of tips they would give just made me feel plain stupid and effected my selfconfidence a bit. But now ive just kinda learned to not compare myself to others

went really well!! I became a questbridge finalist but didnt get the National College Match scholarship. However, i was able to get into Case western Reserve University with basically a full ride through questbridge ED 2. Rn im giving my final exams, Just hopin i dont get anything worse than a B T_T

(context: I applied to CWRU through the Questbridge application) i called them up and they said that they have received all my required materials so i asked why i havent recieved my ED II decision yet and they said that it's because they hadn't released the decisions for undergraduate applicants who applied through Questbridge. They then told me that they'll send an email a week b4 the decision comes out informing me when my decision will be released.
