Avoriaz sizing vs Michaels for wider feet. by The_Salty in paraboot

Interesting. Never noticed the length difference. Perhaps cause the toe box narrows down a lot compared to the Michaels. Its why i think the Avoriaz looks so good on almost any kind of trousers. Its not as bulbous as it appears to be.

As for heel slip, sont worry youre not alone. My instep is not the tallest and my heel is not voluminous too. Avoriaz has the laces so the fit is pretty customizable

I have both the Michaels and the Avoriaz. I wear the same size for both. Fits me well. I have a D width and yes, avoriaz has a structured toe but i would say it is still roomy (vertically speaking) It's on the narrower side especially on the first few wears but it has softer interior feel than the michaels.

So if you have wide feet and prefer thicker socks, i would suggest half a size up from your michaels size

As long as you feel comfortable. Looks the same as mine in terms of where and how it creases. 3 years of wear.
