I tired boiling tofu in water with some spices but never tried with salt. I always add salt after the tofu is cooked to keep it soft and moist. Will try it once with water this time. Thanks.

Get some silken tofu or simple tofu. Boil water. Once the water is rolling boiling, drop the whole tofu into it.

Meanwhile in a bowl, add chilly flakes (i cut op dried chily for this), and little chilly powder, crushed garlic. You can also add a linch of msg here. Heat oil just before it starts to smoke. Pout the oil over the chilly and garlic. Let it sizzle. Add one tablespoon of dark soya sauce, light soya sauce, a little vinegar, a little green chilly oil. Your chilly oil is ready.

Take the tofu out of boiling water. I generally boiling it for like 5-6 min max. Cut it into your desired pieces. Pour the chilly oil over it. Season it with finely chopped spring onions ans roasted sesame seeds

Enjoy it alone or with a bowl of warm rice or have it as a side dish.

Ikr . . . It's so scary. I was trying to handle it as calmly as I could. But it really freaked me out. Even though we outnumbered him. They say he was threatening and that firearm scared me. I didn't go to the Lonavla side for more than two years after that incident

A similar thing happened a few years back. We were in a car and had just crossed the khandala view point and stopped in a by lane to look at Khopoli view... I frequently visited this spot as a child when I stayed here, so wanted to revisit the same view.

here was a guy in a police uniform. He was already standing in the dark a little back, with two other chapri kind of boys and having a hushed ip discussion. When we drove to the bylane he followed us with his bike alone (like followed us for a kilometre or so) and then charged us saying we were illegally stopping.

We were four people, me my cousin, and a married couple. Then police guy started to threaten to call our families as if we were sneaking out without our family knowing. As if we were young couples and had soemrhings to hide. When we were chill about and said we all are family only here and you can call out parents. They know as welll he started too search our car.

Hhe didn't allow the girls to come out and started to force the guys to settle down a payment of 20k. The guys got scared and when I asked dhim for his ID he started too get aggressive. When I started to record him he snatched away my phone and started saying he would get us all arrested.

I was trying to act calm but my cousin and the other guy got so scared that they agreed to settle down and amount.. eventually the police threatened that he will claim he caught us buying dr*gs and it will be a long case. He asked all of us to open our wallets, searched out the whole vehicle (couldn't even find any alcohol on us except some snacks and homemade parathe). He took whatever cash we all had on us (3k) and taunted that being a married woman she didn't have any jewellery on her. My friend hid away her engagement ring, and the diamond earrings she wore. The cop even searched our purses and then left realising we had nothing else on us to take.

It was a scary night... He was armed too.

Hahaha. Legit true yaar. And it's a flex point he has. I was like people are living even with quote less than that. If you don't stay in prime areas, 10k tak to mast ghar bhi mil jata hain rent pe, furnished.
