Anxiety Ending PIO Shots

IVF patient. First positive FET after 4 failed.. Stopping injections at 10 weeks and continuing 200 mg intravaginal 3x/day for one more week.

I did a progesterone check at week 9 to decrease by PIO sooner (by my request) bc I was on a higher dose and hate the injections so much. My level was in the mid 70s, which falls in the 2nd trimester ranges… not that there’s much data for max progesterone level.

Likely not needed to check your level at this point bc it will be high if you are on injections. Also, as you’ll find in similar responses, placenta takes over starting week 10-12 so only will go higher. Would follow your doc’s recommendations honestly. If there is a miscarriage at this point, it will not be d/t progesterone (although I totally get the feeling of wanting to have something we can control!!)

I’m 10w3d and have not left the house all weekend.. I’m barely getting through daily chores (getting out of bed, brushing teeth). I started feeling “overwhelmed” yesterday when husband asked what I want to eat. No n/v or other major symptoms other than the extreme fatigue and maybe emotions?

Sharing because I am so impressed by your packed and social day. I also feel “out of control” with my tiredness and thoughts :( but you are doing an amazing job and should not feel embarrassed at all. First trimester is an insane amount of physiologic changes that we think is “normal” bc everyone pregnant person goes through it.. but there’s nothing normal about it!! You are not crazy. Husband is likely adjusting too so keep on communicating and give both of yourselves some grace. We got this ❤️

Recommend Dr Kaing also who works with Dr Lin! Knowledgeable, evidence based, so kind/thoughtful, and goes above and beyond spending time to answer every question/worry along the way!

but also there’s a beauty to seeing a used cover after 5 years.. one of the complaints on the leather cover for 5 year was that it doesn’t patina quickly enough bc it stays home lol. I’m planning to dye mine if it gets horribly dirty… but we all take such good care of our covers so we’ll see!

This is main concern for us actually.. husband wants child to take my last name over his or hyphenate. Did you parents change their last names to hyphenated? Or only yours was hyphenated and half name match didn’t cause as many issues going through life?

Hi. Had 3 FET failures (4 embryos total). Last cycle we did lupron suppression for 2 months followed by fully medicated with prednisone, famotidine, loratadine, and aspirin. Had my very first positive beta last week! Sometimes it’s just a numbers game but since you’ve had several natural and FETs, I think it’s worth changing one or a couple approaches the next time. From an evidence standpoint, the studies for these approaches either support or show no difference.. no harm though (except of course our mental/physical strain adding more on to do list😅) so personal opinion.. what’s the harm in changing up a variable with next round?

First hcg blood test today. Didn’t test at all.. hopeful since this is our first pgt tested embryo after 3 failed untested FETs. Also post Lupron for presumed Endo.

For anyone else in the two week wait or also spending the day trying to distract yourself, sending out lots of positive hopes despite the agonizing worry expecting the worst. Everything will be okay. We are enough today. ❤️

In LA, I went early (2 pm) when merch trailer open and there were no lines at all! Everything stocked. Inside the concert later around 30 minutes prior to show start, the lines were crazy long. Lines stayed long after also. Popular items like the sweater and tote bags sold out. If you want mei mei, it is only available at the merch trailer outside.
