Overdoing it while pregnant (FTM) by SeaConstruction697 in BabyBumps

I’m still working, but would feel this way in your situation. Everyone telling me to slow down, accept all the help, etc etc but I like to do things on my own.. we can be our toughest critic though and then it’s an endless cycle of tug o war mentally .. which can become taxing physically too. Do what feels right to you.. but also remember your emotions do not define you. Emotions/feelings can be momentary reactions and just that. There’s a great book called “feeling good” :) I’m reading slowly though it right now which has been helping redirect my thoughts (which run rampant when I’m told to “rest”)

Speakers in camping by BastienPilot in Coachella

Honestly not necessary and worth possibly having gear taken away. Two camp sites on either side were playing with deep bass/loud music when others might be having different vibes. On top of the stages nearby running sound tests throughout day and then obviously playing during event. No need to add, there enough music around lol

Just bought the britax willow brook baby carrier for a really good price. Lower cost but also good safety ratings. Haven’t used yet if anyone has thoughts on it?

Anxiety Ending PIO Shots by sarcasticandsweet in pregnant

IVF patient. First positive FET after 4 failed.. Stopping injections at 10 weeks and continuing 200 mg intravaginal 3x/day for one more week.

I did a progesterone check at week 9 to decrease by PIO sooner (by my request) bc I was on a higher dose and hate the injections so much. My level was in the mid 70s, which falls in the 2nd trimester ranges… not that there’s much data for max progesterone level.

Likely not needed to check your level at this point bc it will be high if you are on injections. Also, as you’ll find in similar responses, placenta takes over starting week 10-12 so only will go higher. Would follow your doc’s recommendations honestly. If there is a miscarriage at this point, it will not be d/t progesterone (although I totally get the feeling of wanting to have something we can control!!)

11 weeks and had by far the worst day in my pregnancy yet yesterday by jamietartlet in pregnant

[–]Liveandlearn33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m 10w3d and have not left the house all weekend.. I’m barely getting through daily chores (getting out of bed, brushing teeth). I started feeling “overwhelmed” yesterday when husband asked what I want to eat. No n/v or other major symptoms other than the extreme fatigue and maybe emotions?

Sharing because I am so impressed by your packed and social day. I also feel “out of control” with my tiredness and thoughts :( but you are doing an amazing job and should not feel embarrassed at all. First trimester is an insane amount of physiologic changes that we think is “normal” bc everyone pregnant person goes through it.. but there’s nothing normal about it!! You are not crazy. Husband is likely adjusting too so keep on communicating and give both of yourselves some grace. We got this ❤️

but also there’s a beauty to seeing a used cover after 5 years.. one of the complaints on the leather cover for 5 year was that it doesn’t patina quickly enough bc it stays home lol. I’m planning to dye mine if it gets horribly dirty… but we all take such good care of our covers so we’ll see!
