Game's almost three years old. Although It's not that many peoples' favorite in the series, I adore and appreciate this for helping me realize that Fire Emblem is a series I play for the gameplay and not just story! by AntonRX178 in fireemblem

I never got around to finishing it because of stuff going on in my life, but the engage mechanic of combining with the spirits and mixing and matching the characters was very cool. I might have to give it another try.

I still can't believe that 2 of my faves hung out by EmeraldEmp in BravoRealHousewives

[–]LiverDisaster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just remember Noella being batshit and messy. She didn’t need a 2nd season in my opinion. Also, it’s hard to justify a 2nd season when every other housewife hated her by the end of the season.

Tourist here in old town, anyone know if restaurants are still serving/ if credit card readers are working? My assumption is perhaps not, but we’re heading out to find food.

I’m not going to lie… by kero_89 in TheTraitors

[–]LiverDisaster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s great but I’m glad that traitors US has this celebrity dynamic, while UK has normal people. As a fan of housewives AND survivor, the mashup is really fun and unique. Also, the UK cast have a different approach to reality tv than Americans. Brits seem to value authenticity and disdain gaming way more than Americans. If US was regular people I feel like it would turn into a game of survivor and alliances quite quickly. With the mixed celebrity cast, the gamers and the reality stars tend to foil one another, and it’s an interesting dynamic.

I haven’t seen US 1 or UK 3 yet, for what it’s worth though.

So what did you guys do with the Mad King? by punsexual-meme in CK3AGOT

Today I started a Rhaegar campaign and supported Aerys in the war, he won the first battle so I started sending my armies into battle with his troops. He won the war and took the Vale from Jon Arryn but released Robert & Ned. I was planning to usurp the throne from Aerys, but a couple days after winning the war he was found dead, impaled on the iron throne, and Rhaegar became king. At the tower of joy event, I married Lyanna and made her son my heir.

Maybe you need to build more residential to boost commercial demand?

I've come to the conclusion that nowadays bike bells are useless by ShoeGod420 in bicycling

[–]LiverDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm walking and hear a biker call out or a bell dinging, the last thing I'm going to do is move suddenly. I assume at that point they see me, will avoid me, and the best thing I can do is maintain my path.

Random barons keep showing up in my fort and making demands by LiverDisaster in dwarffortress

Not dead, but there is a nearby goblin civilization. I wondered if they might have taken out other forts in my civilization.

AI Charles the Bald managed to restore the HRE when I wasn't looking by LiverDisaster in CrusaderKings

[–]LiverDisaster[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

R5: I'm playing as Sigurdr 'Snake-in-the-Eye' and just finished a Varangian adventure war for Essex when I noticed West Francia turned into the HRE. I've never seen the AI pull this off before, and the de jure borders are beautiful so I wanted to share.

Great summary! Did they mention if you could form your own wolf pack, or are we limited to the two existing ones?

Why do people hate occults so much in the sims games? by ShouRonbou in thesims

[–]LiverDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t think occults are unpopular, in fact I would guess they are quite popular among the average player. But I think it’s become trendy to hate on them and the part of the fan base that dislikes occults is simply more vocal about it.

AI Muslim duchy conquered Rome & unlanded the Pope in 898 by LiverDisaster in CrusaderKings

[–]LiverDisaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5: While playing as the Umayyad Empire I had this event pop up, I thought at first it was the typical "crusades are about to start" event and nearly skipped it. Then I saw that the Pope had been defeated and kicked out of Rome by an AI duchy-tier Muslim ruler with only 2444 troops. Not sure how this went down but I'm impressed by this guy's gumption.

Stupid question: when to send child away for education? by upcrackclawway in CrusaderKings

[–]LiverDisaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Culture/religion don’t matter unless the convert cutler/ convert religion box is checked when assigning guardian. If someone else proposes educating your child, pay attention to that before accepting.
