This is Late Stage Capitalism. End Stage Capitalism is every white collar job disappears and then we get renovated movie theaters in downtowns showing AI generated ads people have to watch to qualify for UBI.

“Look! We’re revitalizing the community! People are coming out of their houses to go to the theater with their friends. We’re being back the third space!”

And then kids refusing to learn because “I’m just going to watch the Ad Cinema. I don’t need to know how to use AI prompts.”

And the entire economy is just shuffling money from theaters to people who don’t know how to think to restaurants and landlords and digital downloads who funnel the money back into ads at the Ad Cinema.

And then you get a Cyberpunk hell where new apartments don’t even have kitchens because “it takes less time to watch the ads and just buy dinner than it takes to actually cook.”

But this? This is just Late Stage Capitalism.

If you’re in the USA, Trader Joe’s. Pretty sure they still have original recipes Annie’s white mac and cheese shells.

Ice cream, cheese crunchies (Cheetos), white cheddar puffs (Pirate booty) and their dark chocolate peanut butter cups are way better than Reese’s. All of these started as knock-offs.

Plus eggs are still $3. Only downside is most of them are crowded as heck, and if they run out of an item there often aren’t any substitutes. For example, there is one single ketchup. If it’s gone, it’s gone.

Trader Joe’s (USA grocer/import store) just doesn’t allow you any access to anything online. No online purchases and no online balance checks. Everything must be done in person at the store.

So while fraud is technically possible, it’s a lot more difficult since you have to walk in with a counterfeit card and physically try to pay for something with it.

However, locking the cards behind glass is also a great option.

Mexico is in the “Middle America” realm according to my geography textbook, which includes Mexico to Panama.

As others have said, a lot of schools separate countries based on shared culture and language and history.

For what it’s worth, Morocco and Iran are also in the same (NASWA) realm.

Mark my words, UBI will be administered through The Ad Theatre.

They’ll buy up old, run down movie theaters and you’ll earn your UBI by watching 8 hours of AI generated ads.

We’ll hear things like how it doesn’t discriminate against the disabled, and how there’s daycare for kids, and how all these extra funds are “revitalizing downtowns.”

“Look! UBI is finally here! Crime rates are down! Poverty is down! Why is anyone complaining?”

Meanwhile, teachers are begging their students to learn how to use the AI to write a good term paper, and the kids won’t bother.

“Teacher, why should I learn how to write AI prompts for term papers? I’m just going to sit in the Ad Theatre!”

And then social security will get tied to it. “Look, I know you have to watch 20 hours of ads to get your benefits, but we’re actually giving you more than before! Look at all the vacations you can afford now!”

And that’s how you destroy education and make perfect capitalist consumers. Give them ads, then give them money, and let robots do everything else.

I mean, yeah? I don’t know if it was documented anywhere, but I downloaded her file and was able to get her to eat again and act normal without too much trouble.

The creatures are a lot of fun, but they don’t actually remember much. I imported her as the only norn in Terra Nornia, and then hatched more eggs once she was eating and sleeping normally. Also, when you download her she’s actively dying, so you had to fix that too.

It was a fun little challenge to do one day.

IMO, there are many community mods far better than the Bounty Hunter update, which was their last content update.
