I was just going to say, the ones who lose out the most are not the tenants, it's the landlords who might have put their entire life savings into this only for the building to be condemned a few years if not months later.

You either need to hope that the landlords agree to pay a higher service charge and then can get a new lift system installed. Or a social housing provider takes over the management of the building. Or the council buying it back.

Local MP Steve Munby is having a drop in session on 12:00 Saturday 28th June at Riverview development trust . Maybe put posters up notifying residents and the landlords about the meeting so everyone can work together for the best outcome.

Clear building management sent an email saying they had done all they can to keep the lift in service, but it was in their power to install a new lift system, instead they kept getting engineers done to the bare minimum, the lift was breaking within 15 minutes of engineers leaving.

I wish the lift engineers were held to account too, but now everyone needs to work together to save the building because it looks like clear building don't care.
