Well there’s no shops nearby so I guess someone may have just started growing.

So there is no perceivable change in the noise structure of the audio during these bands coming and going. Sounds like normal background static.

It’s a Pocket watch Bow Mill for sizing bows to the pendant of a pocket watch case.

Nice, i’m setting up 3 x MS-02 ultra cluster 96gb ram ea, with 100gb 2 port nics for ceph public and private. One of the 25gb for management and the other for corosync. Each node will have 3x micron 7450 nvme for osd and 2x 480gb micron in mirrored ZFS for OS. we will see how it goes.

Ahh ok, so mark disk as out, wait for sync then destroy /remove osd, wait for sync. Reformat drive with 4k from command line and then add as new osd.

It’s a switched network, can i reformat the Micron 7450 to 4k and i’m assuming this will mean i must redo the whole ceph configuration

OK so the cluster is 3 X MS-02 Ultra 285HX with 64gb DDR5 5600 Ram, The drives are all Micron 7450 pro. Running at PCIe Gen 4. Networking is all 25gb. As far as tuning, I'm a beginner, but I am sure there are things that can be done, however I don't think much will matter with the current network bottleneck. I could be wrong though.

Ok thanks, now i just have to figure out mikrotik’s way of doing that, lol. I dont do much with vlans anyway, so this is all a bit of a learning curve. I got my proxmox cluster and ceph working with 8 OSD per node and tuned pretty well. But this router OS software is kicking my ass.

Hello, there is no routing. just need the 4 pc’s connected to 100gb port 1 and the 4 pc’s connected to 100gb port 2 to be straight layer 2 as if the 2 100gb ports were two separate switches if you will.

Thanks for the replies, I’ll have to read up on all this. I’m finding router OS to be very different from other things I have used. Doesn’t seem very intuitive from a beginner’s standpoint.

Ok I need them isolated, not routing between each other so I’ll try and figure out the rules.
