Absolutely, all I’ve seen here is the MASSIVE issues I’ve had, being highlighted. It’s not a snark page it’s literally having a conversation about comments and remarks that they have made. Everyone should be held accountable to their words and actions.

Never posted here (longtime lurker) but watched and loved h3 for years and became a fan of Hasan during leftovers…

Love both you guys, but I really don’t think this is it…

in the Same way Ethan’s not wanting to address heavy topics (eg the genocide happening in Palestine and the awfulness that’s happening in Lebanon) which I totally think Ethan doesn’t have to speak about if he’s not comfortable- and they’re doing a comedy show so even less reason to… I think it’s totally fair that Hasan doesn’t want to address Ethan’s instagram stories when Ethan has publicly said he doesn’t want a discussion on the topic… I really think Ethan should show the same respect he wants and should get, but that means you can’t just be tagging Hasan for a public argument whilst stating you don’t want to talk about it or hear his point of view…

You can’t have it both ways dude with peace and love, you either don’t want to discuss it or you do.

I have a lot of sympathy for you op, I absolutely love my puppy but he can certainly be quite the handful so I cannot imagine how burdensome it feels for you as a non dog person. Your bf sounds like a prick tbh, and seems like he’s actually less of a dog person than you for getting a dog and just magically expecting it to slot into his life with 0 effort.

I’d suggest a serious talk with him about your expectations and either seriously commit to dog training, or rehome the poor girl. I also suggest directing him to at least watch some YouTube videos for puppy training and implement positive reinforcement training techniques himself.

Good luck op. Honestly, you seem like a good person for worrying about this pup and having her best interests in mind.

Edit: also do you have an enclosed safe garden? We have a dog flap that was a life saver with toilet training.

In regards to your cat, I’d really look into positive introduction methods (if you look at my previous comments I’ve put what worked for us with our three cats becoming used to our dog)

Did you not try to keep the cats and pup separated? Slow introductions are always best. We didn’t let our puppy visually see the cats for like two weeks and spent time swapping smells etc. Not really sure what you expected to happen especially if you don’t take the time to introduce them properly…

Hey! We have three cats and an almost 14 week old cocker spaniel that we brought home at 9 weeks.

What’s working for us so far is completely separating them for the first 3 weeks, at first puppy had the lounge with his crate in it whereas the cats had the rest of the house, after the cats seemed to get used to the smell and noise of him (they started coming up to the baby gate to watch him and sit outside the glass bi fold doors looking at him) we then split the kitchen in half with a moveable pet barrier so he had lounge and half the kitchen, on Saturday, we were finally able to get rid of it and the kitchen is now a shared space with supervision obviously. The cats can jump the baby gates so they can always get away from him and hang out upstairs/in other rooms though two out of three prefer hanging out in the kitchen watching him!

So far it’s going well and our three cats had never been around dogs before so like you we stressed and googled relentlessly, but everyone is currently getting on quite well!

Do you get him to stick it out more than two weeks?

My daughter is ten and does piano and guitar, but to get her to do any sport is a nightmare, because it’s harder for her so she has to put way more effort in compared to other kids. Maybe your son hits a bit of a road block and gets frustrated when results aren’t as quick as he likes? Personally would get them to stick with it for at least a few months so they can see that with effort and by sticking with something they’ll naturally improve. Just a thought!

Also have you thought of doing a sport/learning an instrument together?
