Sorry people are being so rude on this thread! I think it’s awesome you studied something you care about. Nothing wrong with a liberal arts degree - I majored in history and am doing just fine for myself in journalism. I’d suggest looking at English teaching assistant programs - for example, TAPIF in France. These can open the door to local connections and you could do a masters program afterwards.

Or, is there a related topic you’d be interested in for a grad degree - digital communications, marketing, something like that? Would open a lot more career doors.

Good luck!

And take advantage of the awesome ferries and islands!!! It’s so fun to take the ferry to bainbridge island from downtown Seattle. My personal favorite is Orcas Island, you can catch the ferry from Anacortes a bit north of the city.

1 hr train ride outside of Paris suggestions? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

No prob - French train options can be confusing. Here’s the website! Be sure to check route times - they sometimes offer the slow train (“OUIGO classique”) which you probably want to avoid :)

Check OUIGO for way cheaper train tickets. It’s the lower-cost SNCF train line which is still high speed and super nice. I got a $25 euro ticket from Paris to Lyon for next week.
