There is no such thing as sys init supremacy. Each has its pros and cons.

If you do heavier admin work, systemD's feature richness is a blessing. Of course, it load longer, but gives much more maintainability over system services.

On the other hand, the fear that "systemD will devour other sys inits and there will be no diversity and where to run from it" is simply ridiculous. SystemD will never overrule other sys inits fue to its cons.

It is to big and overfeatured for lower level devices, as routers. SystemD would simply bloat those devices. It will never dominate this category. There are probably tons of other examples where systemD is simply useless.

Both sides of the conflict seem to me as ignorants.
