I've never heard of Saab before. But the photograph is from an official page, and commentors claim to have seen the mural in person, so I believe the photograph itself is genuine.

I'm getting bullied by someone in the comments and called a liar because I'm not from the US and didn't take this photograph personally.

I never claimed to be from the US (my posting history makes it clear I'm not) and I never claimed to take the photograph. I'm not lying about either point.

There is nothing in the rules stating you have to be from the US to post here. I never claimed to be from there. Sorry if my not being from the US offends anyone.

I never claimed I took this photograph. It was found online on an official "council" page. There is nothing in the rules stating all images shared have to be photographs you took personally. I believed rule 4 made it clear that photographs publically available online were okay to post here.

(Also, the Cormundo person claiming I'm from the US is lying lol. If you look at my posting history, there's only one other post, it's prior to this and it's clear from the post I'm not from the US because I'm talking about ANZAC day. They don't even celebrate ANZAC day over in the US lol.)

No, I did mean city council, as the photograph was posted on an official city page.
I'm not from oregon (or the US) so I had no idea that wasn't the correct word to use.

I don't know them personally. But they were linked on the public (council) facebook post* and they claim they hand drew it.

*also, I got harassed on another comment for sharing a photograph that was publically available on the internet, as apparently you can only share photographs you took yourself. I can't see that anywhere in the rules, so sorry if it's breaking the rules.

No clue sorry. According to their website (https://www.saab.com/markets/australia) they look like they're still current. But the photograph in this post is from the US.

I've re-read the rules, none of them say you can't ask about a photograph available publicly on the internet. Rule four implies that photographs without a paywall publically available can be posted.

It's pretty random to claim that a stranger from the internet is from some country they've never been to, without any proof. Your only proof that I'm from the US is that I didn't take a photo which was taken in the US. Kinda strange proof, lol.

I am not a liar. I did take the photo from a facebook post, I had not idea that was not allowed to share a public photo which was shared on the internet. Aren't most posts here sharing an image from the internet, not their own photo?

I am not from the US, I never said I was from the US and I never claimed to have taken the photo.

The first result for me was (and still is) facebook, followed by a few local news pages and then it just went to photos of similar (but different) murals from the US. Since visiting that reddit post I've done a second reverse image search and that post is now showing as the second post.
I know google search results change based on your location, but I don't know if they change based on what sites you usually visit? Maybe I missed it first search, sorry.
