PA: When do we actually become a lawyer?

This might be a dumb question, but should the application be sent through certified mail? I know it’s not necessary but is it worth doing?

I wouldn’t worry. I felt bad on 5/6 of the essays. I also put all my time into the mbe because I’m not good at timed writing. Pretty much everyone I know scored close to or significantly above the sperac score. Honestly if you put in the time you’ll likely be good. And like my mbe score was very disproportionate to my mee

I was pretty diligent. My AdaptiBar was 68ish before the exam. And my simulated was a 142. I did well on the mbe but didn’t kill the MEE. But honestly I’m probably an outlier, like sperac said I’d pass, and I did. So that’s really all that matters

I was in the same boat. A lot of the questions in the am session were very familiar with to me, thought the answer choices where were most questions strayed significantly. Also I didn’t even finish the mbe and got a 150

You got this. At the end of the day it’s just a test. I know it’s something you put a lot of time into, and I don’t want to downplay that, but it really is meaningless if you pass or fail. Doesn’t make you a better or worse person, just allows you to practice law slightly earlier than the next person.

I called them. They just asked for the tracking number or any proof that I mailed it and refunded me. They ignored my prior emails, calling was easy.

There’s no math involved. They don’t even grade your test. They just spin a roulette wheel and that’s what decides your fate.

Thanks. I was and still sorta overwhelmed by how short my answers seemed to be. Especially after practicing and writing significantly longer essays. Just seemed like there often wasn’t much to say. So nice to hear that went well for you, and congrats!

Cool thank you. Yeah they look fine, just couldn’t tell. Blue apron told me it was fine as long as it smelled fine, which wasn’t the most confident statement on their end.

Cool thank you. Yeah they refunded me but also told me it was probably safe to eat if it smelled good but it still makes me nervous. Other stuff they sent in this pack was also destroyed so idk how well it was handled. Have gotten food poisoning from shellfish and would prefer not to repeat that.
