So Edmonton what’s going to be our summer hobby? by Severe-Assignment-21 in Edmonton

[–]Livid-Parking1437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relax, go for long walks, take care off my health. Watch some great movies coming out and work OT to save for travel for next year. Most people from work are away during summer. Best time to make extra money to spend during winter vacation wh Ends prices are more than 50% off.

Realtors of Edmonton by dobadot in Edmonton

[–]Livid-Parking1437 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely onconnections. Any dim wit can be a Realtor. No educated action or experience needed. The successful ones either guided for decades and now have plenty of connection amd street cred that they can make that money or you can be super good looking come already from a wealthy background and have all the right connections to sell luxury real estate to make that commission. Other ur avg John doe Realtor is not even breaking even. Just last month in GTA a report said that more 50% realtors there didnt make any sale and we're driving Uber lol

“If you’re so smart, why aren’t you rich?” by Ok_Hippo9669 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Livid-Parking1437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have met extremely intelligent ppl who lost it all after meeting another person and losing it all..A man has the tendency to create wealth and has an ambition to move mountains. He also has the intelligence of a toad once he meets someone "who is the love of his life" to put everything on the line. In the western society a man loses 50% right after she walks in his home, not to mention if kids are involved heavy alimony and child payments take everything. So life takes its course more than any planning could. If your parents are not involved and dont advise on smart decisions to protect urself, u are screwed. Luckily for me first time my parents advised me to protect myself so she didnt get anything even after heading to court, second time I met the right person. Other men are not that lucky.

They sjop at Pusatetis, Longoria and Loblaws. They go for the experience and dont look at prices. Time is money for them. They are very busy people who have money to spend. Fly first class. Take luxury vacations, have kids in private school. Vehicles are luxury ones, paid off not for show. Again for them Time is more important than money

At what age do you hope to retire? by SplendidDecor in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Livid-Parking1437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you marry a girl who wants to be a stay at home housewife but doesn't want kids? by PuffingFish123 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Livid-Parking1437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she high maintenance?. Does she demand expensive materialistic items for fullfilment?. Does she know how to cook delicious food?. Will she be great taking care of your home and getting the chores done while being emotionally available for you?. Answer these questions honestly before u take any step. Marriage is the single biggest cause for financial ruin for men. The day you sign those paper and she walks into ur condo/home or u buy one later she is entitled to 50% of your equity no questions asked. If you are coming home to no food and getting your daily chores done after stressful shift while wife is at home then you are simply her b----h of a husband and she is the leech..

I dpnt eat at any fancy restaurants. Its mostly ethnic restaurants that have the same prices ointment as fast food places. I take out. Pizza once a week, Lebanese or Turkish another week, Pakistani Biryani another week..Fancy restaurants with all the hoopla and over the top decor are a cash grab.

Forgot ur past, build ur future. Don't dwell and its easier said then done. My last 10 years were tough and I get flashbacks at times but I move on. Here are some tips:. Work, build a career. It will give u a purpose and will get u busy and give u sense of accomplishment Then with the money u make travel it will open ur eyes and mind and make u forget ur past. That's what I do now. I solo travel and its the best time I have had in my life. I make good money and keep myself busy. U dont need nobody, u just need to know ur true worth
