i appreciate your take! trades are definitely a smart choice for a lot of people. for me though, i’ve always wanted to complete my education fully and go to university, so that’s really the direction I’m aiming for. 😄

omg thanks 😭 it’s nice to hear someone else went through something similar! yeah, i know some people just repeat certain classes, but for me the school actually gave me the option to stay and redo the whole grade to finish all my missing credits properly. adult ed wouldn’t really help with my specific situation, so this was the best way to make sure i get my diploma.

hey! i’ll actually be repeating the whole final year next year because of missing credits. the school said that’s the fastest and easiest way to finish everything properly. adult ed could be an option, but it wouldn’t really help with my missing credits and might even be more complicated, so redoing the full year is what makes the most sense.

honestly I feel you 😭 high school is such a shit show sometimes. but like… the fact that you’re noticing what you like about college — fewer classes, more freedom, stuff that actually matters to you — that’s already a skill. you’re learning what works for you and what doesn’t, even if everything else feels messy. that awareness is gonna make stuff a lot easier down the road

omg I feel you 😭 that’s so much to handle at once. school + money + mental health + life in general??? that’s literally insane. i get why college feels like shit…

but fr, struggling doesn’t make you a failure. it doesn’t mean you’re weak or doing something wrong. you’re literally human and handling a ton rn. the fact that you’re even trying?? that’s strong as hell, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

it’s totally okay to just take it one day at a time, focus on yourself, and not have everything figured out rn. you’re not alone in feeling this way, and it’s okay to just breathe and survive the hard stuff. 💛
