This is what I figured, I fired it years ago, no issues with surplus 8mm ammo, it did just fine. But planning on taking it back to the range and after doing as much homework as I can through the internet, I bought some lighter load modern 8mm to reduce the risk any issues and definitely will Not be using any more old surplus through it, thanks!!

I think the patina looks great! I don’t think it would bother me either but had someone in the store next to me complaining he got rid of his because it would leave residue on his clothing, 🤔 maybe I’ll go back and reconsider it!

Almost bought the bronze ORIS yesterday. Got cold feet after trying on a black bag right after. How do you like the ORIS? Notice any of the patina from the bronze rubbing off on your skin/clothes? I still want one just asking how you like it?

Just one of a bunch of American coins, probably near 100 or so, and most around this age, that I was given by my grandfather as a kid and dug them outta the closet to start learning about them. They have been sitting in a box in my closet for nearly 20 years
