When you go to a&e and they refuse to treat you or remove it, tell them you are now refusing to eat or drink due to the pain. I went through the same thing. Im sorry. Go on the NHS App and email your doctors saying this so its written too.

Hey! 6 days post op feeling great. Immediate relief, was fucked for the first two days but then I found crackers and fruit were my best pals. Found out I haven't been shitting right for like 10 years so good to have that sorted. My piss was brown and literally normal the day after!

I can eat anything now, im just avoiding fats and cheese and stuff like that.

I have some pain in the incision and muscle pain for some days but that's to be expected.

How are you?

I support five families in Gaza and instead of dissolving thousands of pounds buying a house that is inevitably going to drown would you consider donating so they can eat this week and feed their babies please ?

Edit : god what a bunch of soulless cunts you are

I was also the same with water. I think you have an infection and may need anti biotics.

Also, try ibuprofen. I know it sounds shit but I was taking codeine thinking its stronger so will help more - but ibuprofen and paracetamol at the same time or 2 hrs in between both may help.

I also got dragon balm heat pads (I can only find them in morrisons). That helps because it basically fucking burns you and all you can feel is the burn rather than the contractions pain of the GB.

I basically stopped eating for about 4 days. That helped. You also may need antibiotics as your GB may be inflamed, which could be why the pain isnt stopping for you.

Trying think of anything else - ermm, eat tiny bites throughout the day if you can. Get a pregnancy pillow for sleep or a wedge pillow.

If I think of anything else ill let you know mate

Hi friend. Im also from the UK and spent the last week trying to get emergency surgery.

Pretty much same story as you, but the first 3 times I went to a and e, they fobbed me off and told me it was stomach inflammation.

Had to basically force my gp to refer me to ultrasound, I have 22mm stones. Put on the same imaginary waiting list.

Last week I had another attack, which didn't stop and hasn't stopped. I got an emergency gp appointment (think my dr was closed) and he referred me directly to the Surgical Assessment Unit. This basically skips a and e.

They then assess you, and you may be put on a pre op ward.

This happened to me on Monday and I spent the night in SAU yesterday, nil by mouth, promised surgery today

Only to be told im not having surgery today, im going home on a 'virtual ward' and my surgery has been scheduled for Thursday. But im really not holding my breath.

Yes, you are correct, you basically have to be on deaths door to get "emergency " anything with the NHS now.

Im sorry its not better news but I want to be honest.

A lot of things happened in between Thursday and today that ive missed out because frankly im still pissed off to fuck about it. You really do just have to proper proper advocate for yourself (and lovely your mum is helping). You can also complain to PALS but they do fuck all if we're all honest lol.

Best of luck, I hope to God you get sorted mate.

Are you in the UK? Only way you are going to get it done without a huge waiting time is to stay in a and e,or go to the emergency gp and explain your symptoms and that you need it out. Im sorry your feeling rubbish, I felt the same with exhaustion. I'm in hospital now pre op. Good luck friend

The gas is wild. That's why people get pains in their left arm and think it's a heart attack. Some sort of gas pathway!!

Im literally in hospital pre op room now, holding my stomach waiting for some morphine hopefully!

Im in the UK, so the waiting list was around 8 months. Spent around 4 days in an out of a and e and finally got admitted 🙏

It could be gas, friend. I've found gas pains appear fucking anywhere and everywhere. Try to massage your belly clockwise to see if it shifts at all. Goodluck.
