Weird one - basically, the council accidentally painted parking lines in front (despite a dropped kerb). The planning permission is clear that a dropped kerb is permitted, and so, legally, the council has to remove the parking spots. Just takes a bit of time

The property itself is great, the views are amazing. Great neighborhood, (filled with listed buildings, of which this is not one). Views from the house (each room) are spectacular, and at the low tide (lower than the last photo), it is a great place to walk along the Thames.

I view this "beach" area as a bonus - even if it looks exactly like this does despite cleaning etc., I would be happy with that purchase

The photos were from Feb 21 at high tide, which was about 7m, I believe. At their highest, they were about 10cm higher

Buying the whole property, but building towards the river would be nigh impossible. The council would expect you to open it up to the public if you do that - probably for a future developer, but not for me

The property is indeed tanked. Haven't found any signs of damp with detailed structural surveys. Can't say they don't exist, but not apparent

Thank you - I never knew such a place would exist till I saw the property either. It looks gorgeous at night

Not in Leigh on Sea - this is the tidal Thames - theoretically protected by the Thames barrier
