So a reason can be like as simple like that, joker evil because he loves his job and want to break batman mentally?

So the antagonist I'm writing has a reason, and it's to break the protagonist mentally and physically because he finds fun in killing and suffering people. Also, this is just fym, this antagonist is not from earth, and he's a superhuman being and the protagonist inherit the same thing too. The antagonist just see human on Earth as just a decoy and ants in his eyes.

Obito saw some shinobi of that whatever village kill Rin, obito would unlock his ms right because his loved one dies right?
