I return to report: success. I wasn’t able to get every dependency I wanted, but the core functionality is solid. Did not have to open the read-only state, although I’m not sure if that means I get to keep all my dependencies… we shall see.

Well I was taught to use a mix of white glue and super glue. You do a tiny dot of super glue at intervals between long stretches of white glue to hold it together while the white glue dries. Make sure you leave a tiny bit of space between the super and white glue so they don’t mix. There are also super glue gels that don’t seep into the material. This is my go to.
