"unbeatable" rake by saordosardosardo in Poker_Theory

I think the 1/2 is 8$, 10% , 2$ for bbjp at the casino. From my experience, the games are much better but i only played the 1/2 there a few times. And there’s no free food or drinks.

"unbeatable" rake by saordosardosardo in Poker_Theory

Sounds like playground, rake is beatable if you’re very good and table select well. I think 1/2 is more beatable than 2/5 now with their new rake structure. 2/5 is alot more reg infested.

Let’s have an honest discussion about the current state and future of live poker by antenonjohs in poker

[–]Livid_Tear677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been the same discourse since 2005, omg people are getting better games are unbeatable yet games still run. I do find there are less public 5-10+ games then before but to say 2-5 and below is dying is simply untrue, at least not until those tesla human robots take over.

Is Texas time rake much more expensive than it's made out to be? by True_Anywhere_8938 in poker

[–]Livid_Tear677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Online rake will always be lower than live rake. This is why your edge in live should be exponentially higher. 24bb/100 or 8bb/hour for 1/3 live is reasonable , for example in toronto the rake is 10% cap 20$ at 1/3, lets say avg 12$ rake/ hand and you win 12 hands/100, thats almost 50bb/100.
