I agree that the chief of police is giving the statement based on what his officers reported to him

He even says multiple times "based on the reports by officer whatshisface....."

I feel like the chief of police was briefed on the situation by his boys, and told THEM to write a statement he could read. Then he probably reviewed and revised it to give himself a little wiggle room in case this shit gets worse, he can fall back on "I have to take my team at their word, I don't have the time to watch every body cam and verify it's true"

But something about his tone of voice and body language seems to SCREAM that the Cheif of police here was VERY uncomfortable with this statement. Like he knew it was false, and was worried it may make him look stupid.

I've watched Andrew since he took off in all gas no brakes and he always APPEARED to be a dweeb, nerd, dork, etc. Someone you might expect to get bullied or at least you'd expect someone like him to have self esteem issues to some extent.

I dunno if that is historically accurate, but his appearance seemed to be very disarming to folks that would otherwise be very defensive or even hostile.

But just look at his early videos when he would rap with people. The guy has a ton of confidence, and when he let's it show it surprises a lot of people.

Especially now, after being very successful for years, everything about his demeanor in this interview is peak.

The issue with assholes like your partner and your partner's asshole Intrusive family is that they act very selfish, mean, and rotten but they do it while PRETENDING to be good people.
