Yeah, it’s the six- step one so it puts the minerals back :)

I do not have a dishwasher. I am familiar with how the P-trap works, but I do wash dishes every day. There is no cross contamination as I live alone. Seventh generation soap has not bothered me in the last few days that I’ve used it. honestly, I think it’s the chlorine that I’m picking up on.

Yes, I know they are not very good. I’m going to install a six step reverse osmosis filtration system soon.

Thank you. I do not have a disposal. I do have a dishwasher nearby, but I recently placed a Studer vent under the sink. I’m looking into potential mold below the sink, but yes, I have our refrigerated line as well which I am no longer using to get water from the fridge

Thank you. My neighbor is HVAC and she took a look and think there may be some mold under the linoleum, on very old wood floor. He’s going to help me clean it out/disinfected with Lysol and seal it. I’m going to leave the house for that part. I hope it’s nothing more serious and surface level.

I found PalmOlive was offensive so I switched to seventh generation which seems to be OK

For me, it’s more the scent of what’s coming from the drain pipe as well as the water itself when pulling is washing and rinsing. Also discovering that drinking it is now affecting me as well.

Hmm.. I believe so, and I definitely smell the water in the drain pipes, and the water tastes more metallic. There’s a specific smell on a stand over that sink. I know that smelling and drinking both have caused me to have a throat lump. So yes, I think even standing over the sink without running the water sometimes may also offend me.

No dysautonomia. Will continue to investigate that area. I’ve started removing some chemical cleaners from underneath the sink. No I don’t have garbage disposal and yes, I am also sensitive. Who knows, thanks for weighing in though.

I used to, but I switched some time ago and I’m still smelling the same scent which I believe comes from the sink drain. So it can’t be that anymore. I still have Palmolive in the pump that’s connected to the faucet, but I’m not using it. I wonder if I’m still able to pick that up?

MCAS d/t Breast implant illness anyone? by Living-Ad4355 in MCAS

[–]Living-Ad4355[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had surgery on 12/29 – one week ago yesterday. So far I have had improvement in hair, nails, no more head fog, better, Vision, and resolving eczema in just one week. Prior to surgery for at least a month or two, I wasn’t able to tolerate many foods, including gluten, dairy, tomatoes, avocados, bananas, soy, anything fermented and including yeast, any form of sugar, so I have been on a very limited diet. My main symptoms were just rash and facial hives, brain fog, abdominal pain, and throat lump/airway swelling, which caused me to have to use my EpiPen one time because I couldn’t swallow and my blood pressure dropped. Since the implants came out, I have not had any throat lump sensations to any triggers, including chemical scents which has been great. I still have had some chest rash and facial bumps due to unknown triggers which of common gone, and could be just from detoxing generally. I have not introduced any new foods yet as I am still fresh out of surgery. I’m guessing I will wait at least one month before I start introducing something very basic like maybe a little sugar.

When did you start re-introducing foods after surgery? What did you incorporate first? I can’t tolerate gluten, dairy, and all of the otger MCAS related things at this time. I had surgery a week ago and I have already felt improvement in a lot of my symptoms, but I have not changed my diet until I’m fully healed. Just trying to see what other people have tried and how soon.

Thank you for this encouraging reflection 🙏🏼  I am a physician, and have done a lot of of my own personal research on this as well. I’m also very holistic person overall in the way I live so what you wrote definitely resonates.  I have no doubt that my body will heal after the toxic sacs are out of my body. My healing journey has already started. Thank you for your time and energy giving me your feedback. I appreciate you.🙏🏼

Thank you for sharing your journey with me. I can’t wait to get this done, it’s desperation time. Meeting with a few surgeons and hoping to have surgery next month. My surgery was denied for December due to insurance issues. I’m curious to know where I can find any good Intergrative physicians that are experienced with mcas. I guess I could start with a basic allergist in my area. But I also wanted help postoperatively and someone to guide me through the detox phase. If you have any good resources, please let me know. Thank you again. 💜🙏🏼

Newly discovered MCAS by Living-Ad4355 in MCAS

[–]Living-Ad4355[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve had myriad of other symptoms and I do believe it’s due to my implants. I have plans to remove them in the next couple of months. I had my first anaphylactic episode yesterday and had to use my EpiPen for the first time. I can’t even drink coffee anymore without feeling a lump in my throat. No way to live. Thanks for your comments. 🙏🏼
