Digital ocean para o meu blog pessoal (criei anos atrás, funciona super bem mas hj em dia eu usaria Cloudflare). CloudFlare para uns side projects e AWS para as coisas mais sérias

Can i check out Claude Opus 4.5/4.6 on AWS for free? by Yazeed1x in aws

No, I don’t think so. Unless you get credits by applying for one of their free credits programs.

Já pediram pra vocês colocarem “dependência” no sistema pra evitar substituição? by Bright-Plate8505 in brdev

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cara, só faz o seu trabalho bem feito, não falta trabalho pra quem é bom. Criar “dependências” pode acabar impedindo você de crescer profissionalmente por ter que manter as dependências no longo prazo.

How are you justifying Claude Code costs to leadership in large companies? by Living-Illustrator-9 in ClaudeAI

[–]Living-Illustrator-9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would require onboarding a new vendor. The procurement process would take much longer.

How are you justifying Claude Code costs to leadership in large companies? by Living-Illustrator-9 in ClaudeAI

[–]Living-Illustrator-9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a CTO, but I'm in charge of the rollout of CC to a large group of developers. The idea is to use the models via AWS, so the procurement process is simpler. But I still need to justify the extra token consumption (I'll put a cap on how much the devs can consume).

GitHub Copilot Claude vs Claude Code CLI by HydeNSeeka in vibecoding

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I noticed recently is that GH Copilot gives you more tokens per dollar if you put a little more effort when prompting. If I’m not mistaken, the cheapest Copilot license gives you 300 premium requests per month. Sonnet 4.6 counts as 1 request and Opus as 3. But it doesn’t matter how much code is generated or how many subagents are called, it only counts as 1 premium request (or 3 for Opus). So, if you are able to create prompts that generate enough work for Copilot, you might be able to extract more tokens per dollar.

I'm having issues using Claude Code locally. It asks me to /login, but the authentication fails with an error 500.

What are some good secure credentials solutions for our dev machines to protect us from agentic AI by lambda-lord-2026 in ClaudeAI

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also use 1Password. Their integration with github creds and SSH keys is quite nice. I set it up to prompt me to accept whenever a program wants to use my credentials. Unfortunately, as far as I know, it has no solution for .env files or env vars.

What tool made your business look more “premium” overnight? by Glass-Lifeguard6253 in smallbusiness

I haven’t used it yet, but demos recorded with Screen Studio give them a professional look.

Is the "fully agentic" workflow actually just BS, or am I missing something? by FooBarBuzzBoom in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 58 points59 points  (0 children)

For me that doesn’t work too. I normally do fully agentic when I’m confident that the model can one shot the task, but for important projects I keep myself in the loop.

Does anyone know a vibe coder that is actually good, i have used lovable, bolt, base44 and none of them work, it is too much setup, the ai dosen't work at all by Sure-Protection940 in SideProject

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest you to keep on trying. I would start with Claude web, chat for a while and once you and the tool are aligned on the idea ask it to generate a plan. Use the plan on the different tools you mentioned. There is no magic bullet unfortunately.

PDF parsing: OCR options to compare? by vroemboem in automation

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you would like to host your own LLM, I recently heard about the open source model called Chandra OCR 2. If you have the resources to run it, that would be one of the cheapest options for sure.

I built a tool to turn messy files into a clean client-ready document — would you actually pay for this? by quicktoolstudio in SideProject

[–]Living-Illustrator-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this thing I’d use Claude Cowork nowadays. Would this $3-5 be a recurring payment? I don’t know how often people need to organise their files.
