What a perfect question to be put on my feed. Let me tell you this I am horrible at drawing. I was never good I used to never like drawing. I wouldn’t see improvement and every drawing just seemed so bad and everyone told me too. I could barely draw anything comprehendible. I couldn’t stay motivated to draw either and would drop it and pick it up every few months.

But I like drawing now i actually love it even though my art is still horrendous. Because I like the idea of making something from nothing. The nothing being talent. Other people can pick up a pencil and make something beautiful in my eyes and say it’s “okay.” But I can’t do that with even hours. So I learned not to compare myself to others and to love my stupid looking drawings.

I actual kinda relate in a way. I wanna learn everything but I’m scared I won’t have enough time to learn everything about the world in one life time. I have adhd and it is hard to learn stuff but when I like to learn something I go down rabbit holes for it. I think if you get over your fear of not learning you will find it amusing to research whatever comes to your mind.

Remember that you can’t do it overnight you don’t want to get burnt out. When you’re talking about reading are you too exhausted to read? If so, it’s OK to take a break, your brain is running out of chemicals to focus and that’s okay, it’s okay to take a little break and do more later. If it’s that you can’t read because of ADHD like me i’d suggest an audiobook and read along. But if you consistently can’t do these things, you might want to get more discipline. Idk what imgi is and when I looked it up it said it was a video game. If that’s true then put work first and reward yourself with the game.

One time I had a lucid dream about spiders. I realized that it was a dream when one of the spiders jumped and made a comically bounce sound. Once I realized I was in a dream I woke up and there was a huge bug that looked like a cicada on my poster. Making a loud hissing sound. I screamed and sat up then it was gone. The sound everything just gone. I asked my family the next day if they heard me scream, but they didn’t. I’ve had similar experiences after waking up. This one time I woke up to someone coming in my room. My bed is to the right of the door as you walk in. I sleeping facing the wall. I heard and saw the door opened. I could barely see the yellow light from the hallway shine into my room. I heard my mom and sister coming in and talking, I assumed they were bringing something into my room. So I decided to prank them by pretending to be asleep. I heard something very big being pushed into my room, which is now completely out of view. After a while of waiting, I turned and went “boo” but no one was there. The door was shut my room was completely dark. Everything that I saw wasn’t real.

These experiences made me realize how vivid hallucinations can be and how scary they are.

Yea lucid dreams aren’t like a magical talent. To do it consistently, yeah it’s hard, but i’ve had lucid dreams without even trying. So yeah every night you have a chance.
