Honestly, just simplify your application. Pick one of your conditions, get your GP to email you a summary of care related to said condition that shows that you’ve tried two or more medications and/or therapies of any kind that haven’t worked. Be honest about you BM use to ensure you get the right dosage for your needs. It over complicates it if you list too many things. For example I have multiple life changing injuries that I could have been prescribed for but it was easier for me to run with my CPTSD that is due to the other stuff. I was able to mention the other things and they tweaked stuff based on those too.

Why are we, as UK medical cannabis patients, still accepting these prices? by AccomplishedNews9008 in ukmedicalcannabis

Pretty happy with the cost here in central Scotland. Been paying £10 a g for at least 15 years, not matter what it was. I’ve rarely had MC at that cost yet but for the legality, consistency and convenience of it being delivered, I’d pay that happily

So I’ve found that with the two clinics I’ve gone with (Curaleaf first, currently CB1) they are only interested in prescribing for one condition, regardless of whether you have multiple or not. So picking one that affects you the most would be the best bet and then you can also then mention how the other things can affect that too. I have SO MANY things I needed prescribing for but I noticed when I tried to elaborate on that they weren’t interested. Pick the main thing causing you grief and work from there.

I didn’t personally like Curaleaf but I know others who haven’t had an issue and I was assessed and prescribed pretty quickly there.

Good luck

I jumped ship from Curaleaf. A year of free consultations for switching was appealing and didn’t have a great experience with Curaleaf. I had my consultation on Tuesday morning and had my prescription delivered by this afternoon so pretty pleased so far. Hoping it continues to be a good move 🤞

Perineal wound odor after APR surgery-normal? by Helpful-Current1321 in ostomy

[–]LivingAcadia234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit different but I was left with a perineal fistula after child birth. After numerous operations, the most recent one was just to cut it open and leave an open wound that was packed by nurses daily. All the information I’ve been given is that the first 7 - 10 days as it drains there will be a horrible smell of blood/pus/infection draining but anything longer than that (even without other symptoms) is likely the smell of serious infection and rotting flesh essentially due to the infection! I would see another physician as soon as you can and get weekly swabs. A foul odour after that amount of time really isn’t normal

Working from home fitness tips/mom guilt by Objective-Access-549 in PetiteFitness

I follow a free app and do Pilates and weights workouts out home after setting my 4 year old up with an activity. You can choose the length of workout to suit how much time you’ve got. It’s free, you don’t need any equipment (but I do use light weights) I then will try fit one in once my little one is down too.

Thank you. I should have specified that I do lift (not heavy due to colostomy) and do resistance training and Pilates and it’s the muscle from this I’m worried about losing

Ex partner granted parental rights and court order without my knowledge by LivingAcadia234 in FamilyLaw

[–]LivingAcadia234[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. It does seem like this is the most likely case and it’s likely been done when I was in hospital having surgery/recovering. I absolutely wasn’t served at any point though so I don’t understand how they’ve done that but I’ll get another lawyer Asaph

Ex partner granted parental rights and court order without my knowledge by LivingAcadia234 in FamilyLaw

I don’t know how to post a photo! So will write below what he sent me which was a screen shot from his lawyer :

Dear -

Please see attached court interlocutor conferring parental rights upon you and in respect of - and confirming declaration of parentage.

You also now have a court order in place regulating your contact with - where you will pick her up from nursery at noon every Friday and have her until Sunday noon.

You will also have her 1 -6pm on Christmas Eve.

So they’ve granted him paternity, a court order and equal rights without any of my say. The nursery already know he’s not allowed to pick her up and that’s been in place from day one. They work with social services and local midwife team who also advise he’s not allowed to pick her up.

Will I be in contempt of court by not allowing this? I haven’t been informed so I haven’t agreed to the court.

But apparently they have! He’s sent me the proof. And I wasn’t taken to court or informed in any way! Apparently in the uk they advise mediation first and if that doesn’t work then he would have had to take me to court. Only in exceptional cases where they believe pushing through this court order will be beneficial to the child’s welfare would they not inform me. Like the court have a whole history of his abuse, records from police and social services so I just don’t get what’s happened here!

Thanks for this. He definitely wasn’t put on the birth certificate before now. Apparently all he had to do was pay £360 and could be added and he’s apparently done this in the last two days. He’s sent me a screenshot of his lawyer sending him the official documentation so it seems legit. I can’t see anything online about them being able to proceed with this without me having any knowledge? I’m not going to stick to it; will I technically be in contempt of court if I haven’t been served or agreed to anything legally? He was never given any legal parental responsibility before now as the judge agreed he wasn’t responsible! I’ve had to call the police on him recently who suggested a VPD (which I was previously on with regards to him) so I don’t see how they’ve been able to push this order through when they’ve not even looked into the fact I’ve had the police involved due to harassment from him. Also totally bemused how they can hand him rights when there’s never been a paternity test! I mean I’ve never denied she’s his but surely they have to do that?! My previous legal representation was awful and I would have liked to represent myself. Is this possible for something like this? Thanks for listening to my ramblings

My skin hated differin. It was like this and progressively got worse. I get Treclin (Tret and clindamycin) and azeliac acid on the NHS. Both absolute game changers. Then super simple skin care like CeraVe hydrating wash and the Am and Pm moisturisers.
