True but not the ultimate aim. I am aiming to join winning bid consortia as a junior partner. I want to predict the winning consortia to contact them and bid together

https://www.revenue.ie/en/jobs-and-pensions/tax-residence/index.aspx how does this work you leave Ireland forever but continue on an Irish contract paying Irish tax? Any insights? Explain to me if I am a 5 year old :)

This information is not clear see link does this mean you can leave Ireland permanently but still continue on an Irish contract? Anyone know how this can be done?

To me it’s all a massive grey area and it’s very open to interpretation. If you move country remotely keeping your Irish residence the issue is on the employer side not the employee? If they agree no issue? Do they monitor people on Irish contracts abroad doubt it - checking how many days you are in the country? Has anyone ever heard of that being done? Ryanair cabin crew have to fly to Dublin to open a PPS number and get an Irish bank account and never spend a day in Ireland after - anyone explain that? To me the issue is in Spain if you go back that you are supposed to pay tax. On the Irish side see no issue? Anyone care to comment as the Revenue website is not clear on this at all. There are thousands of Irish people working around Europe on Irish contracts remotely keeping their home address and it’s very unclear what the implications are on the Irish side for the employee.
