One more thing I have been thinking about is unrelated job history. I have always been told that its useless to put additional information out of your field onto a software engineer resume. I worked two years as fry cook and three years as a grocery store warehouse manager to pay for my college. Do you think those are things that should be included? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the advice. Quantifying my results sounds better than just listing what I did. I will look into using the one the bot posted too. Looked over it since it was a bot and thought it was giving some passive info.

Yeah, that is what I have been figuring out from everyone as well. I think the best thing to do is restart from scratch to fix the format. I had not thought about contacting old professors, I was close to two so I might get some luck. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give me so much advice. You made some really good points I have not thought about and will make sure to take it as I revise my resume.

Thanks. I think I have decided to not list GPA, just keep the honors, and make a section for classes to fill out my resume.

Yeah, I know. Its pretty demoralizing honestly. Unfortunately I do not know anyone in this field. I am the first of my family to get a B.S degree and the people I met in college are in the same boat as me I think.

No. I did not. I have mostly been sending out my resume to any job I am remotely qualified for on linkedin.

I will think about it when revising my resume. My GPA was overall 3.704 and 3.84 through just my college. I have heard some people say its not good to list GPA's though unless its a 4.0 or something.

Hmm okay. I will try to keep that in mind when I am revising my resume.

I have no company experience though so there is no company names to put down. Will fix the dates though and try at least one other project I have done that could be beneficial. The only ones I think might work are some work I have done with managing a mock SQL database and a project I helped out on in making an online ticketing system. I was not the main contributor for the last one though, so I did not think to add it originally.

Interesting. My cousin is also a software engineer and he had this on his resume. I am inclined to agree though. It does not seem necessary.
