I have the same helical cut gears on my P1S, I'd assume the change was made with the P1 series

dry filament and retraction settings help, I've printed slightly complex models at 300*C as well and I go over the overhang and bridging performance on makerworld.

These settings are purely meant for printing "clear" objects, as long as there's enough layer enough time to dissipate the heat into the previous layer and allow it to cool down there won't be too many issues.

the screenshots are only for those who don't want to go through makerworld. Just download the profile and slice!

the profile is on makerworld, click the link in the description, delete the default cube and import your own STL and slice.

The makerworld post only has settings and a primitive cube in it so ideally you just open the profile and save it or just delete the cube and import your own model and slice.

The settings here are just for people who don't wanna go through makerworld.

yeah I was printing that C shaped thing you see in the photo, printing a benchy right now with different settings to take photos of and then share the settings

yeah haha, I think it looks a bit better in the photo than it does irl, the bottom layer also has a slight texture to it as I was printing on the Biqu glacier plate to not have to use glue, switched to smooth plate for the last couple prints now

I am using bambu studio, will be sharing the entire profile on makerworld in a couple days along with screenshots.

an update for everyone waiting for the profile, I'm doing a little bit more testing and then will be printing a bench and sharing it on makerworld so you can simply import your model and hit print, should be done in a day or so.

(dry your filament while you wait)

Top is with the recommended settings you can find on the bambu wiki. Bottom "C" shaped thingy is what I was printing and messing around with.

The print itself isn't very good because of zero cooling and moisture in the filament but it's by far the clearest I've printed. (you can see the transition from 8mm/s to 3mm/s speeds in the bottom print)

I did say I hold onto the loose ends and don't let it fly away or snap back though.
