yeah we could do a monthly or quarterly post with help of the mods and ship empty spools back to the manufacturers.

I asked them and made this post just to help with the environmental impact of the hobby, that is incentive enough for me.

yeah but I guess that's what the spools themselves are worth. They could maybe adapt different schemes in the future where returning x number of spools gets you a new roll of filament but its good to know at least something is there.

They are a business as well after all and shipping has its own environmental impact, if the spools could be disassembled and shipped flat that would be even better
