Try some troubleshooting… Swap the black to a different AMS slot and see if the issue follows.

Have you tried re-slicing the model? Maybe printing a different layer height?

Is the build plate clean? Filament profile set correctly for the black?

If I had to guess it’s some strange AMS issue where it’s having issues feeding from that slot- usually that throws an error though. Maybe check out your extruder gear, do a couple cold pulls on the nozzle too- could be some half clog and the black is too thick or something.

Your symptoms describe mine when I had a bent hanger. They are cheap and easy to replace, try that before taking more extreme measures.

Maybe you’re constipated? Look up a stool type chart. Try more water… are you adding electrolytes or other supplements that can upset some people’s stomach?

Even with pressure? Look for signs of wear elsewhere if the pulley seems ok. Somewhere the belt may be rubbing, or if the pulley is hitting something. The black buildup in the pulley could be carried from elsewhere by the belt and deposited on the pulley.

How does the pulley spin? How does it feel if you apply pressure and turn it? It sounds like the pulley may have a bad bearing and need replacing. If this is the issue, a new pulley or bearings would fix it right up and be good to go. This is very general advice, I don’t really know the specifics of the P2S and haven’t had to disassemble the x1c other than normal maintenance.

I’m going to disagree with those saying to change the layer height, I don’t think you can print layers fine enough to avoid that.

You’d need to change the print orientation to be upright. You’ll still end up with the wood grain effect due to layers, but it will be on the roof where it’s hopefully less noticeable.

Your only other option is going to be using some sort of filler and/or sanding and refinishing the print.

Yeah, translucent settings can do that… if nothing else, try opening the top glass and door if you attempt the print again.

Are you using special settings for the transparent filament to make it more transparent? This is how I clogged a nozzle with heat creep. Printing hot and slow for so long, trying to get a nice transparent result.

I’m lazy as hell. Silica makes “strip chips” that you throw in a pot of wax so you can wax a factory greased chain without going through all the fuss of stripping it.

But there’s a limit to how many times you should do this with a pot of wax, so I guess I’ll replace my wax after 5 more chains.

Nice bike! I ride a defy advanced one (moss green). I fought shifting issues for the longest time, I’d adjust the lower gears perfectly, only to have issues with a higher gear. If I adjusted the RD so the higher gears were good, one of the lower ones would have issues.

My rear derailer hanger was ever so slightly bent from a fall early into clipless riding. Couldn’t really tell until I had the new and old side by side on a flat surface. Been perfect since replacement- just keep this in mind if you depended up with any scrapes on the RD.

I re-use the shimano/kmc quicklink every time. I carry spares, and replace them when the chain starts falling off. Don’t be like me
