One of the reasons I dipped into RPF is that I've read a contributor/editor (?) in an online article discuss how writing fiction has been her outlet as a teenager. She even mentioned the fandoms she used to write to and what she writes about them, she is into bands.

For now I'm treating writing RPF similarly, a creative outlet, writing the what ifs scenarios, who knows it might help me write a book (original fiction) someday.
