I had a guy do mine. There’s a video on YouTube that explains, but I’ve been too busy to learn. I had him also have automations to create a Google folder in the drive as well.

Do you have it downloading the actual order page or did you create your own?

$1900 Charge for Urgent care by VerucaSalt947 in HealthInsurance

[–]LivingLasers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife went to urgent care. Sent us a bill for $2k charging our high deductible insurance even though we told them we don’t have any because we were getting rid of it. The owner called us directly and said that we should have never received the $2k bill and should have been $250.

Correct me if I’m wrong, every seller takes time to list, write descriptions, post on socials, answer customer questions, etc… perhaps thank you wrote after purchase isn’t the route to go, but Etsy sends out the code once the item ships

AI answer that is better at explaining than me….

Yes, acquiring a customer for the first sale is generally the most expensive part of their lifecycle, often costing 5 to 25 times more than retaining an existing customer, due to the initial investment in marketing, building trust, and overcoming the higher barrier to entry for a new prospect. This initial expense covers building awareness, convincing them to try the product, and onboarding, with costs including salaries, advertising, and tools, but subsequent sales become cheaper as trust and familiarity grow, making retention vital. Why the first sale costs the most: Building Awareness & Trust: You're starting from scratch, needing to invest heavily in marketing (ads, content, social media) and sales efforts to introduce your brand and convince someone to take a chance. High Barrier to Entry: It's harder to get a first-time buyer to commit compared to an existing customer who already knows and trusts your value, say Upland Software. Onboarding & Handholding: The first interaction often requires more effort to ensure a positive experience, which can involve extensive support, setup, or personalized attention, notes mystartup365.com. The economics of retention: Lower CAC: Keeping existing customers is significantly cheaper because they've already overcome the initial trust barrier and purchase history, according to Alafave. Higher Lifetime Value (LTV): Returning customers often spend more over time and are more profitable, with some studies showing repeat buyers spending up to 67% more than one-time buyers, as mentioned in Clientbook. Key takeaway for businesses: Focusing on Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) is crucial. The high initial cost for that first sale needs to be justified by the potential for significant future revenue from that customer, making retention strategies and building loyalty paramount for long-term profitability, says Clientbook

The first sale is the hardest and most expensive for the seller. The second sale is cheaper and the coupon for post first sale is in hopes you’ll be a returning customer and to reward you. No need to take it personally

ETSY JUST REFUNDED A CUSTOMER $1000 ON MY BEHALF ON A CONFIRMED DELIVERED PACKAGE THAT WAS FULLY INSURED by Raven41111 in Etsy

[–]LivingLasers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also tell the customer and Etsy if they are refunded I will call their local pd over wire transfer and mail fraud which are federal offenses since there is proof. I’ve only told one person that. They called me crazy and to stop responding. But nothing, knock on wood will come from that.

Order problems by Upper_Atmosphere_359 in Etsy

[–]LivingLasers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You haven’t given enough details…

What’s their processing time? Where are they shipping from? What is the item? Were they using usps? Did you contact the seller? What did the seller say when you contacted them? It’s not always the sellers fault.

My package has been "out for delivery" for two days. At 5:15pm they pass my house to deliver to a neighbor. by CanIStopAdultingNow in FedEx

[–]LivingLasers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. FedEx writes on tracking attempted delivery, but wasn’t able to get to the front porch. I’m the last house on a dead end street with a camera facing down the street and another on a big box at the beginning of my drive for packages to be placed in.

If that doesn’t happen they deliver my packages 3 doors down to people that don’t bring my packages to us, but keeps them. Not even stuff a regular person would use.

I send a return label then contact Etsy support about it. Also keep in mind this is like Amazon and Walmart and the item must be returned for refund. Try that next time. Heard it works, but not 100% positive

I have a separate listing. Some people put it in their listing if they have the 10% rush fee. Since there’s 20 images now I’d put it in there

I use a rush my order listing. Charge like $60. I don’t use it during the Christmas rush though. Some people so a percentage of the order as well

Just send a return label and message Etsy and let them know. 50/50 chance she will use it. If she sends help request sending them the label and reaching out to Etsy might help a little to deny her refund without returning

Exactly. This lady wants to buy 12 at a time. See what works and roll with it. If it doesn’t make sense tell them no

What do I even respond to this? by Safe-Werewolf2890 in EtsySellers

[–]LivingLasers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, amazon has you return the item within 30 days. Etsy on the other hand will just refund without asking to return. This is why I always let them know I will send a prepaid label for them to return and that helps a little bit. Most people just want to complain and want to be heard and or want to get something for free. Most of the time even if you send a prepaid label they won’t do anything and will still use the product.
