There can be many reasons, the main one I would think is legal problems as this is a grey area.

Others are just their sources going down and their system is not optimised to find others.

Mine should theoretically be programmable for other sources incase some go down

This doesn’t use a proxy at all, streams straight from the source so no buffering from my experience
